Well it's about time , always rooted for him.... Just not certain hes actually HC material. Jets seem to think so, which is fine with me.... Hes a defensive guy who isnt quite Rex Ryan...
That defense though is missing a ton of pieces.. A ton... The offense just needs a quarterback.. Theyve got plenty of weapons for a quarterback to have success with.
I was hoping I could root for Bowles in ATL or something. Now I have to not like a likable guy. This sucks.

My three picks to replace Philbin were: 1- Harbaugh 2- Ryan 3- Bowles The fact Ryan and Bowles are going to be in the division, along with Belichick means we still have the worst head coach in the division, IMO.
That really sucks... for us. I'm glad for him though. He deserves this shot. Just wish it wasn't with those clowns.
So Bowles is now the Jets coach, Rex Ryan is the Bills coach, and Bowles is stealing the best position coach the Dolphins have. I knew I shouldn't have gotten out of bed this morning.

Will be an interesting case study of quarterback importance versus coaching importance. The Dolphins have the worst coaching in the AFC East but they have the second best quarterback. So we will see which is more important. That said, Joe Philbin's Dolphins are 5-7 versus the Bills and Jets since he took over in 2012. We had Ryan Tannehill this year and the Bills/Jets had crap for quarterback. We were still only 2-2 against them.
The coach Ross should have hired (Bowles) taking our best coach (Rodgers) to NY and promoting him. Lovely. Would have preferred just promoting Rodgers from within.
Seriously, it's frustrating to stand pat with underachievement while the teams in our division get better. I realize Bowles is largely unknown save for 3 games in 2011, but he's damn sure more qualified at the time of hire than Joe Philbin was. We're the only team in the division without a leader of men in the captain's chair.
Here's to Tannebaum taking over 2/1/15 and announcing the termination of the entire coaching staff and hiring of Gary Kuiack and Wade McDaniel as his DC
He is going to bring back Rich Kotite for head coach and the DC is going to be a piece of New York Pizza that he misses so much because everyone in New York thinks they make the best pizza ever.
We can cheer ourselves up that Miami probably has the second best offensive coordinator in the AFC East though. Jets are expected to hire Chan Gailey and the Bills have hired Greg Roman. And yes I do put the combination of Belichick and McDaniels ahead of Lazor. Let's not get carried with away with Lazormania.
I'm trying to figure out why he's so talked up. But hey, there's no rhyme or reason to this head coach hire thing sometimes. I thought Philbin was a good hire until I realized it wasn't.

I am really disliking Philbin more and more and Ross is officially off my Christmas list . the good news is that you still have me and you still have your healths . seriously I think we should hope for a 3 -13 season so maybe Ross will realize he will have fire Philbin unless he decides to keep using this club as a tax write off .
