We wouldn't blow our wad. We would sign a pretty BIG piece in 15', and still have cash for 16'.

    Funny Anecdote:

Lebron James got hurt and was away from the team for a while.....

where has he been rehabbing and staying for the last 6 days? Miami. Where will he remain till "healed"? Miami.

Dude can;t make it through 1 Cleveland winter.

BTW, objectively speaking...MY God....Pat Riley is so much better at being Pat Riley than Lebron is.

Pat Riley turned Cap Space, two sign and trades, 1 MLE contract, and 2 Mini MLE, to go with 3 Min. Contracts into a 4 time Finalist and a two time champion.

Lebron used 4 years of Cavs futility to gain 4 Lotto picks, Kept one in Irving, then used 3 of them to bring in Love as the 3rd banana, then used all of their remaining assets gained in S&T's and FUTURE assets to add Mosgov and JR ****ing Smith.

and Cleveland wonders why they lose all the time. They TRY to lose.

When they announced he would be out two weeks i posted here pretty much calling bs on that "injury", it was his way to tell Cleveland to make changes now or he wont play with a roster that cant win, i even said i expect them to get Mozgov in those two weeks which they did.

Now that they made changes Lebron will come back to test out his new roster.

I think Wade is still BFFs with LeBron, but doesn't mind trolling him a little bit over his leaving for Cleveland.

Bosh, however, sacrificed a hell of a lot for LeBron's glorification. I think Bosh is legitimately just as aggravated with LeBron as Heat Twitter is.

Whiteside again is making a huge difference for this team. Really loving the presence he is adding on both ends of the floor.

If he keeps it up tonight, this kid is going to make me some SERIOUS money on fanduel.

I took Whiteside, Harden (big night), Motiejunas (big night), Gerald Henderson (big night), Kemba Walker (big night), Lillard (big night hopefully), Cleanthony Early (big night), Patrick Patterson, and MKG (big night).

He's currently sitting at 12.8 fantasy points at halftime. He gets another 12-13 fantasy points in the second half, he'll finish the night as the top fantasy center in tonight's fanduel leagues. He cost me almost nothing and is going to give me maximum value. I spent most my money on Harden, Lillard, and Kemba Walker. My 3 stars did really great, and my cheap players are giving me great value tonight.

I'm guessing the word BIG being capitalized was more than a coincidence. Hoping that BIG is Gasol. He is a stud, and someone that I can't believe doesn't get more publicity. He's probably the best center in basketball right now.

Seriously, what's the point in keeping this team intact to get a 7 or 8 seed? I just don't see any reason for it. I'd give them a few more weeks to see if they can't get it turned around, but if things stay the same why not try and develop your young guys and see if you can get some pieces for trading some vets.

Thank god Whiteside is doing the things he's doing...cause bright spots, aside from him and Wade, are really hard to see. Some days they can't defend. Some days they can't score. They're down the basement with PHI/NYK/ORL in points per game. Wtf. And this third quarter issue is just confounding.

Section, why is Spo being stubborn when it comes to Whiteside, Napier, and Ennis? Starting to get annoying trying the same thing while expecting different results each time.

Don't understand what Spo is doing with the rotation.

Birdman can't play the kind of minutes they're giving him and is miscast as a starter anyway.

Why Whiteside was glued to the bench while the 3rd quarter slipped away again was beyond me.

And I'll say again, I don't understand why we're not investigating a Deng trade. We can be the 7th or 8th seed with Deng, or be the 7th or 8th seed with Tayshaun Prince plus cap space and pick next year. I'll take that.

Spo is still coaching this team like we're gearing up for a Finals run. We need to play the young guys. And had we been doing that all along, perhaps they would've been more ready to contribute come playoff time and maybe we could surprise somebody.

Maybe the young guys are aggregating Spo in practice or something. That or he's taking cues from Riley who didn't like playing young guys either.

I have no idea. I am as aggravated about this as well.

Playing Bird 11 consecutive minutes last night while a 10 point lead turned into a 16 point deficit with Whiteside on the bench was completely unacceptable, and worth a Pat Riley calling Spo on the carpet moment. It was if they tried to throw the game.

I love SPo, and he is a great coach...but he is doing a bad job so far this year. he has two All-Stars playing at a very high level....Wade would be a MVP candidate if we had our record reversed. They should not be this bad. Period.

I'm glad you said it, because I've been feeling that way, but thought maybe it was just me. His rotation management has been really questionable, and the fact that the team comes out of half time that flat would seem like an indictment on the coach. I love Spo, but something's got to change. I'm really hoping he gives the younger guys some more PT. Whiteside certainly has earned it at this point and with our PG play, Napier couldn't be much worse.

Saw that and Brendan Wright possibly going to Phoenix rumor as well.

Also saw Calderon could be in play for Houston for Terry and a 2 (which Id take just to get Calderons contract off the books). Houston supposedly looking at Dragic or Deron Williams as well but theyd need to have the necessary outgoing salaries which I dont think they could match as easily. They can matchup fine salary wise with Dragic but dont have enough outgoing talent to send there without messing with rotations or lineups. They cant match up at all with Nets. Because the Knicks are so bad and I dont think you can find a better match imo.

With all the dealing that's starting to get going, it would be nice to see Riley pull out his shrewd negotiator hat and sneak some nice deal like he tends to do. In the NBA more than any other league for some reason it seems teams are willing to give up good players for less value. If Riley could find a way to get a PG it could make a big difference. If not, and they keep floundering, I'd like to see him turn some of these vets into some young talent either via draft picks or young guys with upside.

I don't think he will make any changes unfortunately.. he's pretty stubborn and will stick to the 2016 plan even with the small percentage chance of it panning out. In his mind he thinks he can do it again, and while a lot of people will say never doubt Riley etc etc etc, if even Wade has said it would not be wise to wait tlil 2016, then I think Riley needs to consider Wade's thoughts and choose a different route to rebuilding the Heat.

One thing that truly hurts the most is McRoberts injury, that is one piece we could have had some real trade value for along with Deng, and now he's injured and his value is nil until next year.

At the same time just like Section pointed out previously, this roster should not be THIS bad, so I can't fault Riley for thinking we have the pieces to at least compete on a nightly basis. But if there's an opportunity to make a trade, he should definitely take it, forget 2016... 2016 is not guaranteed.

I don't know. Riley doesn't really like to stand pat (no pun intended) when his team is underachieving. He may not make a move immediately, but if they continue to flounder, I would be a little surprised not to see him do something. This team should be better, but I'm not sure they should be much better. They are getting zero production from the PG position.

Donatas Motiejunas has become the 2nd best player on this team. I am not sure how to feel about that. His offensive post game has taken leaps. You can tell he's been working with McHale on his footwork. How Dwight continues to not have a post game is ridiculous.

I agree and the Josh Smith move affects Montiejunas' minutes more so then anyone else. Another reason I didnt like it. I had picked Montiejunas weeks ago in my fantasy league and Smith kills his value

He stood pat for too many of Wade's best years.. At least in 2010 he still had Wade in great health and in his prime still, he was able to sell that to Lebron..

He didn't have to sell anything to Bosh, Bosh was getting the hell out of Toronto whether it was for a championship or not.

But this will be a much older Wade and older Bosh he is going to try to sell to this new star.
