Stephen Ross wanted improvement. After another offseason of spending money, we are the same 8-8 team. Stephen Ross IS the PROBLEM.

I was referring to his movement in the pocket in general. It's pretty poor for such a supposedly good athlete.

Ok I could agree to this. Tannehill looked rattled.

The minute Jawaun James left the game..it was a jail break on the offensive line. Fox was moved to LT and Turner to RT and College was as bad as I have seen him all year. It was an embarassment

We are currently the only 8-8 team. 49ers win puts them at 8-8 and they are the only other team that can finish 8-8. Idk what the tie breakers are between us and the 49ers so let's just say 8-8 49ers lets us move up tot the 14th spot.. There are four 9-7 teams so Winning could have pushed us down one to five spots (16 - 20) depending on tied breakers.

Even when the pressure is not immediate, his movement isn't very good. Never side steps, or steps up when available.

What an absolute DISGRACE! To see Rex Ryan and his team dancing and laughing on our field in our EMPTY stadium is a lowlight as a 40+yr fan of this team. This game is one of the most embarrassing moments as a Dolphin fan. Coupled with the owners pre-mature decision last week has me over the edge. Adding to that, our QB is getting his *** handed to him while our 15 million dollar receiver is MIA....what a sad time for me and this team...DISGRACEFUL!!!

We need so many blue chip players. I think when people say this team is talented they're not being very objective at all.

Corner is a huge issue once again. Grimes is 32, and there is no second good corner.
    LBs are a problem.
    2nd safety is a problem.
    Dline is a problem.

    on offense:
    Need an alpha WR
    Need a bruising RB
Resign Clay or also need a TE
and of course, that abomination of an Oline once again.

Hickey's going to need a near perfect off-season to get this team improved significantly, specially with the suspect coaching.

yeah. it worked out for us, losing to the jets. Even though I wanted us to win it will benefit us come draft day

Our defense is terrible right now. There's no getting around that.

We need better talent at several positions and we lack depth across the board.

The Jets have a very good front-7. If you allow them to put up 30+ points, you WILL lose.

And if you actually do allow 30+ points against the Jets, your defense needs a lot of work.

They are both huge needs. It will depend on value with our pick.
If there is no corner rated in our draft range... but there is a stud backer, you take him.
I wouldn't force the 'need' draft pick ala Ja'wuan James last year. (even though that worked out).

The sidestep and up step is rarely available. Dolphins had an almost entirely backup OLine out there today. Pressure was coming constantly off the middle and the sides, and quickly. He was swarmed. He was being hurried and being hit on almost every single drop-back.

    LOL at people blaming Tannehill!!!

Please stop watching football until you understand it!

Did you not see our "defense" making Geno look like a HOF QB???

    The defense is a joke.

And Miko can shut her trap.

Well, we are the only team all year who actually allowed the Jets to score 30+ and prove your theory...:pity:

That's right a season best offensive explosion for the Jets.

Vernon once again completely disappeared over the second half of the season. Wake and Grimes both have already played their best football in the NFL and I just don't see either of them being impact players in the future.

To me there are only a few players on this defense to build around for the future. Jones at safety and Jenkins at LB appear to be players who can help this team long term. I thought Vernon might be this type players and while he is still young, he just hasn't performed effectively over the second half of the past two seasons.

I really don't see any other starter now on the defense that is a player I can see this defense being built around for the future.

As much as this team needs help on the OL and a big back, I hope they fill those spots in free agency and they use everyone of their draft picks on defense.

Why the F#*K are people even discussing Tannehill? We have so many more problems that caused that abortion of a game above and beyond if Tannehill runs or not. Wake the F#ck up!

This is what I wrote at 2:23pm right after the Clay TD. I knew by the looks on the Coaches faces and the arms folded and dismissive wave by Wallace that this was a problem. He did not see another snap all game

This is a team without a Plan B. There is no one to blame for that, whether it's a lack of adjustment or lack of player depth, but the coaching staff.

So he should get a pass? His pocket presence hasn't improved in three years and that's disappointing. I support him and think he has shown SOME improvement but a completion record means nothing when everything is a check down. And yes, the OL has been horrible but even when given time his decision making is suspect big time.

Or Clabo? He'd never coached him before last season, and he'd been benched right before Martin threw his fit and walked away, forcing Clabo back into the lineup.

Continuously throwing to a covered checkdown for a 2 yard gain on 3rd and long. Been doing it for three years when replay clearly shows open wideouts.

Yes, with whats around him and the beating he has taken, not only does he get a pass, he gets a pat on the back. And all you watched today, His name came out of your mouth first today?! Very suspect in your observations if he is not on the bottom of the list of problems...seriously.

I have to shake my head at some of these comments. Ripping Tannehill...Wallace...you name it. On the very very very top of the LIST should be this Defense and Coyle. I dont care if we knew they were awful...they dont deserve a pass or a gloss over. The Defense just gave up 37pts to one of the worse offenses and QBs in the league. This is what we all should be in agreement about. The Defense must be in shock that noone is even bothering to ask them how they can be this bad??

We shouldn't talk about the future of the QB position? He had a good year but hardly something to be too excited about. If you can't see his limitations then your missing the big picture. Mediocrity at it's finest around here.

If the season Tannehill had as a 3rd year quarterback and the improvement from last season isn't worth getting excited about, i have to imagine very little would ever get you excited.

There is plenty he needs to work on, I would not argue that.

I want him to succeed as much as anyone but he has a long way to go. 5 yard check downs don't get it done over the course of a season.
