I never saw the back of an OL jersey on literally every play before.

    He is awful.

A Philbin favorite .When you are not succesful at drafting you end up bringing in players like him .

Don't isolate Colledge. It's everyone not named Albert, Pouncey, James and Satele.

You can look at any one of the guys who've rotated in and out this year: Colledge, Dallas Thomas, Shelly Smith, Jason Fox, etc.

When they have played extensive time, they have looked bad.

When they have played elite competition, they have looked awful.

I thought Colledge looked okay this year when he was healthy, but he was absolutely abused today by an elite player.

It's another reminder that we're not done building up this O-line.

It's worthy of its 8-8 record, but it's not anything close to Play-off caliber as of yet.

Literally on every sack #67 back was to the camera as he walked back to make sure Tannehill was still alive.

Coming into this game, Colledge had the best pass blocking effectiveness among our guards, according to PFF. Adding up sacks, hits and hurries, and divide into pass block snaps. Surprising, yeah. But today he totally sucked. I'm guessing he gets the worst pass blocking rating on our OL for this game.

Pouncey was worse pass blocking for the year than Colledge was, going into this game. Before today, Pouncey had given up 30 combined pressures in 428 snaps and Colledge had given up 17 in 391. Neither was good though. After today, Colledge may have a higher pct of total pressures per snap than Pouncey does.

But we know who Pouncey really is when he's healthy and playing Center. We can always put him back there if need be.

He may have had a bad year trying to rush back after surgery but he's earned his second chance.

Colledge, Smith, Thomas and Fox have not earned anything and they probably will not ever rise to the level of "starting caliber" for any team in the NFL.

Pouncey has basically demanded that he be put back at center next year. It is probably because as a guard, he sucks.

I have to wonder if he will even be effective if he moves back to center next year. I think he is extremely overrated at this stage of his career and it won't surprise me if the Dolphins just let him leave after he becomes a free agent after next season.

No disagreement there. Just pointing out that numbers wise, Pouncey has been our worst pass blocking guard this year. He has not looked to me like he's 100% at all for lower body strength, which is to be understood considering rehabbing from hip surgery would not include heavy squats, dead lifts, etc.

He'll be back to full strength next year and likely back to starting Center.

Colledge is a pending UFA and likely to retire IMO. I'd guess Smith and Thomas both come back for at least training camp since they are under contract. Fox is a pending UFA too, so his status is an unknown at this time.

Well, you can't attack Pouncey for having a down year when he was rushed back after surgery and asked to play a new position in a brand new offense.

Hell, why wouldn't you expect a down season?

Don't all facts kind of point to that?

Last time I saw a Colledge this easy to get into, I was watching a DeVry commercial.
