This game was awesome but I can't help but be reminded of 2011 when we won all those meaningless games that took us out of the Luck sweepstakes.

Tough to enjoy it, when after the dust settles and the "heckuva job" speech is over, you realize and have to deal with the harsh reality that Philbin will be back next year, and we have at least another calender 2 years with no playoff appearances. just saying. The win vs san diego was good too, but i dont care or remember it much. What i'll remember about this year was the loss to the Ravens. and the blowout against the Pats.

As a dolphins fan, even our wins dont make us winners as fans.

 

So long a Tannehill has less than 5 INTs next week he will have thrown for more TDs and less INTs than last season.

 

In a meaningless game. Let's see him do that against the Patriots

 

8.5 YPA for Tannehill in this game, that's really good as well...

 

As far as they knew, they were fighting for life in the playoffs.

I know this season has been frustrating but can some of your just enjoy a good performance without complaining...

 

And we probably dropped 5+ spots in the draft and saved our sorry *** coach's job, winning games that don't help us at all late in the year to fool our owner and prevent the necessary change the team requires to get back to it's winning ways of the past....but hey, who cares about the long term success of this franchise, this meaningless win is everything!!

I got the House bragging rights for another 3 years. Last time we actually went to Metrodome to watch the beatdown. And we're leaving for minnesota tomorrow, so i get to wear my jersey in front of the whole family. They'll probably make me sleep outside, but I DONT CARE!

It wasn't meaningless. Going into it we were still in playoff contention. It was a must win game for us if we wanted a chance, as slim as they were. Also, Minnesotta's D is pretty highly ranked as well, I think they were 5th or something against the pass... 10th overall in yards against...

This team loves to win meaningless games. It's the games that really count where we show our true colors. So yeah this win while enjoyable is also bittersweet.

 

He had 3 passing TDs and a rushing TD before in this season, but never 4 passing TDs.

 

Couple things...

1. Landry now has 79 catches on the season... Sixth best dolphins single season. 90 is the record.. Couple guys have 86.

2. Tannehill now has 26 touchdowns, passing his previous best of 24. 12 ints is one below his career low of 13.

3. Wallace now has 10 tds, tying his career high.

4. Miller needs 79 yards to reach 1000

 

I agree 10000 % the only way to win something meaningful is to get talented players and a coach who doesn't coach scared. Tannehill s a nobody and we need a star player but Tannehill might can get there but nobody ever talks about him and if the media wont talk about your team and you are the only team that they wont talk about that is a bad publicity move .

not one media guy mentioned that we had a freakin game this pisses me off because all other nfl teams gets mention and a team that don't is Miami WE ARE ENTITLED TO HEAR ABOUT OUR TEAM if ALL THE OTHER TEAMS DO ?

I disagree, an exciting game from key players, and a loss is the best outcome after seeing Pitt was gonna beat KC. Now its all about draft position. That said, I never want to lose to the Jestss so I don't want to lose next week.
