Abandoning the run, allowing long drives every time on the field, losing important games and coming out flat sure are fun.

At least you finally admitted it. Let me try an educate you on why real fans take it to heart so much, its called undeniable passion. And you, who is still wet behind the ears in this forum have no right to tell the well seasoned members how to react when it comes to how they perceive their favorite team. During the course of an NFL season there are numerous ups and downs, we choose to ride the waves with all we got. Passion!

You chose to tell us you`re an "engineer" when nobody asked. I , for one, don't really care what the individual profession of our fans are because it doesn't matter when it comes to being a passionate fan. Be it a Rocket Scientist, Brain Surgeon, "Engineer", or for that matter a homeless person, it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things while being a fan of an NFL franchise. So, spare us your Corporate World mentality because it doesn't mean anything around here. Furthermore, don't belittle the posters here who don't agree with your "logic", by telling someone they`re doing a bad job in evaluating their team.

This is an NFL Miami Dolphins football forum, NOT an executive conference room. So, your questioning our loyalty to our team doesnt hold water around here. If you still find the need to type endlessly telling us why you`re right and were wrong, have at it. But DONT question our loyalty to our team and why we choose to be so passionate about our Miami Dolphins.

I agree, I do not hold it against Saban for going with his heart. I just wish he would have stuck it out here and I believe we would already have been a contender and possible champion. I believe Saban to at least be BB's a equal if not actually a better coach. Bring us Harbaugh Ross..we need to have a champions mentality..while your at it could you bring back 2 a day's to Miami so we can get our home field advantage and stamina back. Seems like injuries have been way up for us since going to 1 practice per day.

Greg, just an fyi....people were using the word continuity in these threads before you became a member...I cannot stand the word in the way that it relates to our team. Furthermore, nowhere is it a given if Philbin and Coyle goes do we lose Hickey and Lazor.Actually with a hire like Todd Bowles or Rex Ryan, the odds are they would stay. No telling what Harbaugh would do but my bet is if he likes Tanny he will keep Lazor.

I think saban realized they made a huge mistake with the culpepper signing and he knows he had no qb of the future on the team so he bolted for greener pastures.

You could be right there pumpkins as we all know that was a horrible decision..I wish he would just have learned from it and regrouped as he could have drafted the " right " QB in the next draft.

I really liked todd bowles in 2011 when he was our interim coach after sparano was fired.I thought he should have got a shot but we hired philbin instead.

Sorry for the auto correct typo in previous post pumpdogs. I really liked Todd Bowles as well and do not understand why Philbin got the job over him. Look what he has done out in Az..all of the injuries that they have had and he just keeps that Defense rockin....I would not be disappointed if we brought him back as our head coach as I think he would work well with Hickey, he would keep Lazor as OC, and he would probably promote Kacy Rogers to DC and work hard with him and Hickey to build our Defense into top unit again with incredible depth. I think he would want to keep Differ as well to coach the LB's and Benton to keep on the OL..Sounds like a good plan to me if Todd will give Ross another chance!

    back on topic..

like I said, if you are really trying to change the culture it really all starts with the venue, lets hope some of the changes will bring the fans closer to the action, even if its 5000 or so, something to engage the crowd into the game without having to win first..

    then you go from there..

what was our culture for both the dolphin and canes when we played at a special venue {orange bowl}, special as in stands in relation to the field...Pretty damn cool I would say..

what has it been since we left for both programs....deteriorating...is the answer.

How did the ravens build such a strong culture so early in their existence...their stadium is 2nd in football in terms of the stands being closest to the field..

why do the packers have such a great culture...lambau.

    how bout the chiefs...arrowhead..

how bout the king of culture right now, the king of the 12th man, a fanbase that gets more pub than any other..Seahawks and the link.

why did nick saban hold a conference yelling at his fanbase to arrive early and to not leave home football games early..because he gets it.

    Ray Lewis.
    Aaron Rodgers.
Alex Smith and a good pass defense, and even then they're a mere 7-6 because Smith is nothing but a game manager.
Russell Wilson, and a very good defense. Just messin' with ya DJ. ;)

We're all grown men here, I take no offense to what anyone says.

If you're serious about knowing what's going on with the team then you should watch the film every week, at least a couple of times. If not you're just throwing darts blindly when you talk about who's responsible for the results.

The stadium wouldn't matter if the players and coaches were any good. I don't care how good of a venue the Orange Bowl was, I went to many UM games -- during the good years -- when the place was dead and empty. They were still good.

The stadium is being changed. It will be much more of a intimidating place to come and play when it's finished.

We need a coach. We need a coach who is a difference maker, not just an organizer. Jim Harbaugh, Bill Cowher, even a Rex Ryan.
