I admire your courage. But we're done. Find other things to enjoy this winter. Hopefully your favorite college team got a good bowl game or something.
They didn't show me anything today to indicate they deserve to be in the playoffs. It would actually be a waste of a playoff spot another team could actually make use of. lol.
Well technically they would get in at 9-7 if the Bungles and Chiefs finish below 9-7 (with Ravens and Steelers grabbing North & WC1)...which I think might happen, but the Dolphins would probably still screw that up.
With an abysmal 15 point scoring average over the past two weeks, I think it's safe to say that the league has caught up to Miami's new scheme on offense. It was a noble effort with a horrible line and a quarterback that responds poorly to pressure, but the bubble was bound to burst sooner or later. So while it's not officially over, it's over.
The playoff teams are playing their best football right now. We are not playing our best football, its not too hard to figure it out.
we play a goal line style offense the whole game hard to win like that unless you play perfect. We need 4 play 70 yard td drives every once and awhile not 12 plays.
if you check out inpredictable.com it will have the update probably tonight or tomorrow and you can see our chance of making it. Before the game it was 49.3%. I believe now it is around 18%
If that's how you feel then why bother posting a reply? You might wanna stay in the group therapy session threads, dreaming of which new coach you'll want fired a couple years from now.
As long as you stay in the threads about how we're going to make the playoffs and Philbin is a great coach.
Ummm...no. I don't think so dude. This team (and coaching staff) showed you exactly what they are made of today. They had their chance, and even took an early lead. But, they're just not at the same level as a team like the Ravens (who owns them BTW) yet. They're just not. One day maybe. But, one day is not today. Sorry.
Last year's Ravens game featured some creative officiating, specifically with PI. This year's Ravens gave featured some creative officiating, with them dusting off "ineligible downfield" and using it more than most of us have ever seen. This is on top of the team being its usual inconsistent self. Anybody remember how last year's Patriots game took Creative Officiating to such a place that it deserves Capital Letters? Anybody think this team can overcome that in Foxboro this year with anything less than a perfect performance?
Philbin lol. My bad, we just see things differently. If you decide to study some game film I'm confident you'll have a more nuanced opinion on why we're losing games.
Chiefs, Browns, and Bills lost so that helps. Need Chargers to lose. But winning in Foxboro almost looks impossible the way the team has been playing the last 2 weeks.
You can't motivate people by telling them what you don't want. More teams should employ people with backgrounds in psychology.
Nah, this team still has 100 times more talent than what Cameran had to work with. What Cameran had on his team... was not even worthy for the CFL.. It was pathetic.. every position besides Jason and Zach was pathetic.
And if you include all the players there's still Albert, Moreno, Mike Pouncey for the first 4 games, Misi for a few... luck hasn't been on our side this season with all the injuries.
Well i'm of the few that believes anything can and will happen. We need some other teams to lose, but we are far from out of it imo.
