You guys lost three games against great teams that you should have won. Your defense is tough.

Defense appears good enough, especially when healthy.

That pass rush really got after Rodgers when we played you. I think he was sacked three or four times.

If the Falcons at 5-7 are playoff caliber, then hell yes we are playoff caliber.

You guys are a spread offense like us. It's like playing against 3rd and long all day. It's not the same as playing against 2 wide sets with stacked front, which a lot of teams play, including our next opponent.

You held us to 27. Not a lot of teams have done that other then Detroit, Seattle and New Orleans.

I know, that's why I said the D is good enough. They find ways to keep the opponent low or within reach for the O.

You also held the Pats to 20 and shut out the Chargers. That is impressive. Our D is good in Lambeau but away from home we aren't very good at all. Don't know why. After Baltimore what does the schedule look like? After Baltimore what does the schedule look like?

The Pats on the road will be tough. Minnesota at home should be a W and the Jets at home should be a W as well. I will say 10-6 and the Dolphins win the division.

    LOL

This angst over an ugly win is pretty premature. We were one of the best AFC teams going into the weekend, and still are afterwards. If we are knocking us for this week, then why not then the other "playoff caliber teams":

    NE lost.
    CIN won uglier than us.
    PITT lost.
    CLE lost.
    BAL lost.
KC lost two in a row.
SD was outplayed for three quarters and also won by three.

Put your panties back on. Errr, go put new ones on instead.

If we have one loss, I hope it's to MIN. The other 3 teams are AFC teams and we need to have good AFC record for tie breakers.

I can agree that the Dolphins have a good chance of going 10-6. The best that will get them though is a wildcard spot. I don't think the Patriots are going to lose anymore games in the regular season and if they win their next 4 games, they will finish 13-3.

My pick for the SB are the Patriots and the Packers. Without the home field advantage the Packers had last week, I think the Patriots will end up being the eventual winner of this years SB.

We could be winning the division at 9-5 if the Chargers beat the Pats and we beat the Ravens and the Pats, but winning the division at 10-6 is relatively impossible. That would mean that the Patriots only win one of their remaining games. The good news is that if we are tied with the Pats at the end of the season, assuming we beat them twice, we win the division.

Last time we beat the Patriots up in New England was 2008, unleashing of The Wildcat. They've won 5 straight

Seattle vs Denver again this year for the super bowl I think. If NE has to go to Denver in the playoffs they aren't winning out there. I know the Pack could beat them in a dome on turf in Arizona as well. Seattle has such a tough defense though that it will be very tough to get past them.

I would love it if Miami wins out and wins the division then if the Pats are a wildcard they are screwed. That team is not the same team on the road. They didn't look all that dominant in Lambeau. Although my Packers are a terrible road team as well so cant talk much. Miami would end up getting a first round bye then a home game in the second round probably hosting Cincy or New England.

First of all, I don't think New England will have to travel to Denver. I think it is Denver which will have to travel to New England and the Patriots will win that game rather easily in my opinion.

In fact even if the game was played in Denver, I would still pick the Patriots to win. They just have a better team than the overrated Broncos, IMO.

My pick of the Packers in the NFC is based on my belief they will get the home field throughout the playoffs.
I believe they can beat any team in the NFL on their home turf and that includes Seattle.

If Seattle somehow ends up with home field throughout the playoffs, I would certainly change my NFC pick to the Seahawks. I just don't see the Seahawks beating out the Packers for the #1 spot in the NFC playoffs this year.

I hope your right about us getting the 1 seed. Seattle's D is just too tough though. They made Denver last year in the super bowl look like the Raiders lol.

SD won by 1 pt. ;-)

    Additional info:
NE lost to the Packers. Classic Brady meltdown on sideline.
CIN won a REALLY UGLY one against the bucs. Dalton threw 3 INTs.
PITT lost to the 4 win Saints. Ben threw 2 INTs.
CLE lost to Buf. Hoyer and Manziel combined for 2 INTs and fumble for a Buf TD.
BAL lost to SD - who we beat badly. SD was outplayed for 3 quarters and also won by 1 pt. 34-33.
KC lost to Den for their second in a row. Smith threw an INT and they lost 2 fumbles.

    Good post, Keith.

    Here and there
Any poster that has used the phrase from Parcells that says "you are what your record says you are" in turn has to believe we are a playoff team since we sit in the 6th seed.
