We get 2nd and a 6th for a guy that may only play one or two years??thats highway robbery.

thing is, my 11 year old son is gonna be so disappointed. i'll have to break the news to him when he gets back from his aunts. kinda makes me sad, he really loved Taylor.

i like kris jenkins...in a 4-3. an injury prone undersized NT at that cost was not wise. If Parcells wanted Pace versus his value, he'd be here. we agree you overpaid, but we'll see. you guys paid a fortune for Faneca, you shouldve just gave Kendall what he deserved.

and the thing is, we didn't give all our money away, the Jets did. Ferguson has experience in our system, and we gave up nothing for him, while his salary is modest in comparison to Jenkins. THAT is whats awesome. We signed Torbor for peanuts, you have cap hell to look forward to, due in large part for WAY over paying at the height of free-agency for Pace.

and i didn't create the Jets fan's reputation, thats just what it is.

    Link?

JT had every right to ask to get traded. He didn't have a right to hold out of training camp which is why if fo wanted they could have fined him. And as for the homosexual crack lets get real bro, does your masculine image or others masculine image mean that much to you?

He can still like JT, as long as his main loyalty is still to the phins ;)

few years back, I went to the Miami/San Fran game in Frisco and the guy right in front of us had his binoculars on the cheerleaders the entire game. guy never stopped watching them, well maybe long enough to pass them off to one off us when he spotted one extra special.

This is unbelievable. No really, unbelievable. As in, I dont believe it till I see it. When will he be showing up to take his physical? I cant believe that JT would agree to be a Redskin.

Can't beat a good set of binoculars. never know when they might come in handy. if you can afford them, buy zeiss. they are well worth the money.

those two niner fans were a blast. they guy that was watching the game was all into it, and San Fran scored a touchdown late in the game. the guy watching cheerleaders jumped up and wanted to high five his buddy, slapped his hand right as the guy had just put some kind of lip ointment on his finger, and got it all over both of their hands.

im so glad we got a 2nd in this deal. Next year we should take a NT with our first, a CB with 2a, and a safety with 2b. Id be very happy with that.

i was at a wedding when i heard the news from another Phins fan. I had a scotch in my hands i raised my glass and gave thanks to JT for his great service. I wish him the best i think a 2nd pick is good value. i'm so glad i don't have to post any more JT stories

I can't be bitter toward JT irregardless of how he left Miami. He has been one of the few bright spots this team has had in several years and was a terror to opposing QBs. I am sad to see Zack and JT go but the time comes when the betterment of the Dolphins has to come first.
A 2nd and a 6th is great considering JT didn't want to be a Dolphin anymore and he may have retired rather than report to camp. Besides its better that we go through all of the growing pains now rather than to have things spread out. Unfortunately JT was a distraction and the writers would never have let the topic die down if JT had stayed.
I wish JT well and hope when he hangs up his cleats in the future there is someway he and Zack can retire as Dolphins.

This season will be very weird. ZT a Cowboy and JT a Skin.

I can't believe JT will be a Redskin. My worst nightmare come true (yeah yeah we get picks but we have no idea that they'll work out but this isn't the topic of my thread soooooo).

I hate the Skins and to have one of my fave Dolphins of all time come to this area? I hope I see him somewhere around D.C. I'd love to rub his 6-10 season with the Skins in his face

I had just finished telling somebody that Jason might not be a Dolphin for too much longer and boom this.

Cheers to you Jason Taylor, you will always be one of my favorite Dolphins in an unfavorite era. I must say though that I am glad we don't have an albatross around our necks going into the season.

Ronnie Brown, come on down . . . you are the next contestant on My Favorite Dolphin!

All I can say is BRAVO!

Parcels and Ireland make the right move and they get the price they were ultimately looking for, a 2nd rounder.

    Great move by this regime.

He's good, but I'd like to see a Stud MLB, or a pass rushing OLB....

We could do both though, our down years have loaded us up on meat and potato positions, we could afford a CB at #1.....

DAMN...I was really hoping that we'd win a Superbowl with him and Zach one day...<sigh>

Oh well time to move on...like the slogan says...'A New Beginning'...

Hopefully these new guys can emerge from 'who?' to a house hold names as well.

Doesn't everyone feel like we just got bonus by picking up another 2nd? I feel like watching the draft will be like I just went to pick up a pizza and they gave me 50 wings and some breadsticks for free.

The only thing that Cole is qualified to promp is whether or not I want fries with my double cheeseburgers.

  34. Now It's officially a new era of football in Miami, both heads of the defense are gone. This is a great trade for every team in the AFCE! All our QBs can breath a little bit easier, and the Dolphins get a high draft pick for an older player.

Sure will be weird with no Jason or Zach next year.

Ah well. I'm going to miss JT and Zach, but they weren't going to get a chance at a SB here anyway. Sad, the Fins FO wasted their careers the way it wasted Dan Marino's last 6 years or so.

Holy jebus I didn't even hear about this until today.

I'm glad for all parties involved, and I'm glad and excited for the board as well - no more speculation! The Skins get a HOF pass rusher, we get draft picks and the clear conscience to continue the rebuilding process, and JT gets to go to a contender.
