Today was a good day! It's even raining here in SoCal. Good things are happening. I hope the team is prepared for the Jets.
I can care less if Brady is pouting if we lose tomorrow. Wont make me feel better about a loss. with that said http://gfycat.com/AllGlitteringHamadryas
Because Brady's pouting doesn't really pick up until elimination day! Coming soon to an AFC venue to be named later.
I'm in redondo, been teasing all day, just want it to rain down on us with full power but its like Mr C and his bladder/***** problem..drip drip.
Awesome day....which makes tonights game better...and then we still have dolphins gmae tomorrow for potential playoff seed? Need a statement type performance tomorrow (well, ill take a 6-3 win at this point)
I don't think the Chargers record will matter to us as long as we get to 10-6 and beat the Ravens. Most that can happen is we switch spots with them from 5th to 6th seed.
If the Chargers beat the Pats and we beat the Jets and then the Ravens at home...then @ N.E. is for first place.
would be nice, but I don't see the Chargers beating the Pats. I think their lack of pass rush will get them killed vs New England.
Chiefs are getting smashed. Just goes to show matchups are everything. Near perfect week for Dolphins. We just gotta do our job and beat the Jets.
Imagine what the Dolphins are feeling watching these games..they've got to get confidence from watching it, and hopefully some anger.
Hopefully lots of anger. Bitterness to. I expect them to play with a fire here to close out the season...kind of the opposite of last year
Even if we win tomorrow, we will only tie with the Steelers for the wildcard spot at this stage. Both teams will have the same conference record, and will have won the only game they share versus a common opponent at this stage. Jacksonville has lost to both teams. We would still need to beat Baltimore and have the Steelers lose to the Chiefs in order for us to have a better record against head to head opponents. I may be off on that part, but we still need even more help before the end of the season for this team to make it into the playoffs. The next three games make or break our season as they are all conference opponents. We need to have a record of 2-1 after this stretch for us to have any hope of making into the playoffs this year.
Yes and no. Yes, they did hurt our overall record, but they do allow us to remain in the hunt as they were not in conference allowing us to have a 5-3 record currently. If we continue to have a winning record over the next three games we have a legit chance to make the playoffs. Going 2-1 over the next three will give us a record of 7-4 in conference. Buffalo, Baltimore and Cleveland already have 5 conference losses and still have conference games remaining. They will not win all of those games, so they will add something to their loss totals. If we end up with the same record as the Chargers we already have the tie breaker from our victory. Pittsburgh needs to lose some games for us to get in as well, but again that is going to happen. I don't see that team going 4-0 over the next four.
Man, today is setting us up perfectly for tomorrow night. Obviously it's a must win for us, but every team ahead of us has lost or is losing. We MUST take advantage. A win brings us right into a Wild Card spot.
