I think Tanne does need to hit on some longer balls, but I am certainly not down on him and not worried about that issue. I love the way he's been progressing and I just care about winning. He's been greatly improving in many areas and I think once he just hits a few of the longer attempts, he will have that feel under his belt and will keep improving from there in that department. This week, against that Jets secondary, will be a great opportunity to do so.

They also give Landry some well deserved praise. He has just been a great surprise. Great pick. Well done Hickster.

Our playbook is in a three ring binder, Geno's comes with a pack of crayons.

we don't need Tannehill to hit on those deep balls to be a very good team and a wildcard team, but we do if we want to be a real contender. For now, I'm extremely happy with his progression, hopefully that part of his game comes around too.

Thankfully the Jets have one NFL CB and he happens to suck. I feel any of us have a good chance of providing as much meaningful coverage snaps and depth as the Jets' CB's this season. With Muhammad Wilkerson (NYJ sack leader) out, we should be able to pass all over the Jets. Sheldon Richardson is still really good though. I don't expect to do much running with the Jets being the 4th best run defense in the league. Without the ability to cover, the Jets may have to blitz often. They've never really had that legitimate edge rusher so blitzing has been a necessity in NYJ since 2009. Quick passes to hot receivers and screens really should be able to work against this team. They'll also mask the fact that our line is held together by gum and glue.

i'm very curious if we can run on them, we all thought we could not run on denver, which was not true until James went out with a stinger
