We've ran a few pretty good ones. We're getting better. Define successful? 70 yards and to the house? Bills 23 Miami 16 I don't think either offense lights it up, but I do think we'll see some opportune scoring from turnovers/field position. Miami w/o Albert is going to be devastating vs. Buffalo's defensive line. Even with Albert, the Bills defense had their way with us. I'm not sure Tannehill finishes the game.
I just hope it's competitive. Not 29-10 or 19-0 whooping by the Bills. We need to move the pile, rely on the Oline and the running game heavily, and do some quick tempo, punch them and gas them.
Defence needs to step up and take over this game just like the bills have done to us.We need turnovers!!!
We are screwed then. They will dominate in the trenches. What we really need is Tannehill to hit a bomb to Wallace to get them to back off or else they will play everything short, jump every route and make the offence look inept.
i don´t think we can run on them, its the same against detroit, this time we need to test these LB´s of them with passes in the flats to the RB´s, target Gilmore as often as possible, we have to pass to setup the run this game, imo
I'm thinking on a short week, one team will fold if punched, start making mistakes. I hope we come out and stay physical, all 3 units.
Exactly how I feel, sometimes you just get a certain feel about a game and this is one of them. Everyones talking about their DL dominating us, well just watch what ours does to Orton.
If thats the plan....you need to hit 2 or 3 of these before they back off. Otherwise if you hit just 1, I think they just say "oops - oh well keep going at it, they dont hit those often" and keep the pressure dialed up. We need to consistently burn them deep (ie bombs to Wallace AND some deep 15+ completions to other guys) before they dial it back. I'm not sure we can do that near consistently enough to call it a game plan. Hopefully the shots are sprinkled in at least. I don't know how I'd game plan this one...its just an ugly match up. I think our best hope is getting an early 10 point lead and keeping the foot on the gas. I dont know if you can "come back" from a defecit in this one. Game has me nervous as **** =\
21-19 Dolphins. Our D just allows four FG and a late TD. Wallace will catch two deep from Tannehill and D. Williams will run for one.
Bills 23, Dolphins 10. 1) I think the Dolphins will be hurt psychologically by the loss to Detroit and the loss of two veterans at key spots (Albert, Finnegan). 2) Bills pass rush turns Miami passing game into 2013 model (esp. with the injuries and a rookie at LT) - where RT gets majorly pressured and several sacks. I hope I'm dead wrong but I do not have a good feeling about this game. Buffalo seems to have a bit of a psychological and physical edge on Miami from the last two times they have played and since it is not a Sunday afternoon game where Buffalo is in dark jerseys and wearing down - I think we're in big trouble.
Dolphins 10 Bills 20 They match up too well with us and have our number recently. We have a depleted o-line and Ryan is still sore from Detroit. I don't see us scoring a lot of points and I see them being able to run the ball on us in a similar way that Detroit did. We have usually lost the time of possession battle this year which I see happening again tomorrow. The one hope I can point to is turnovers. We have been great at turning people over. If we can do that, we can stand a chance at winning.
my brain tells me this will be the story but I'm going to predict we play over our heads, overdosing on adrenaline the whole game and somehow win 10-3
I guess since the bills Defense is so good and our OL lost Albert, considering that our DLine is not good at all and we are facing probably the best QB in league in Orton, we are totally out of luck. Phins 27 Bills 6
Hard for me to ignore the changes on Miami's O-line, the recent history of Miami dropping games to Buffalo, and the overall history of the Dolphins chocking in big games since well...like 2000. Bills - 22 Fins - 13 I really, really, really hope I'm wrong.
Close game. Assuming lots of sacks on both sides, Tannehill especially. Hard to lose a pro bowl tackle who was ranked 3rd in the NFL in pass protection. Two close teams. Bills are 32nd in red zone scoring, Dolphins 30th. Yet Miami 1st in red zone trips, Bills 7th.
Has anyone mentioned the change in dynamics for this game? There will be an angry Miami team taking the field tomorrow, vs. team who's beaten them in 3 straight. The Bills will be the hunted and not the hunters, I honestly feel like our boys would rather get a colonoscopy than lose to Buffalo, again, at home, on national TV. I know intangibles only matter to an extent but these are two pretty evenly matched teams so if one team that plays a little harder it could be the deciding factor. Im going with Miami, 23-13, RT finally hits Wallace on the deep post, the Bills fail to match our level of intensity and we get the win.
Yeah, that never really means anything on the field. The better team usually wins, or sometimes more rarely the better game plan.
if we didn't lose branden and finnegan, this wouldn't be a game because of those very intangibles.. Somehow we will win this game, even if Ryan has to run for a first down from a chaotic pocket..it would be a miracle I tell ya!! he better use every once of that athleticism 2maro nite
Home field advantage will be huge...LET'S ALL BE IN OUR SEATS AT LEAST 1/2 HOUR BEFORE KICK OFF!!! Shut the tailgating down early....we need every advantage to help our team win..any of you guys sit in or around section 453 row 11 ? My son got us tickets for my b-day 11/10...Huge surprise! Would like to meet some of you. I guess we will park in handicap section by gate A
Don't forget how Miami lost the first game, Blocked punt, kick returned for a td, the Bills O scored 1 td that was at home with their two rb's in good shape, Miami was knocking on the door when after scoring a td marching down the field the hard way, Spiller ended the game with the kick return for the td. Fins 21 Bills 10
He doesn't do it often but he he did it last week and vs San Diego. The Bills have a variety of diff rushes and they do a great job of not leaving gaps to escape from so RT better be able to stand and deliver.
he better do both..standing and delivering takes good protection, unless you want him staring down the barrel all nite, which is more dangerous then the alternative.. he just needs to play with some feel and do whatever it takes with his arm and legs, if he sees it and can multitask in his head, then stop trying to be perfect and just get the first down any means necessary..this is a must win game..no forgetting that you have legs and can hurt a defense with them early and open things up for himself if he remembers.
I think Buffalo's DL wreaks havoc on miami's OL and RTH is under duress all night. As a result, he turns it over 2-3 times and we lose 20-13.
