I mentioned some of this is the game day thread, but I think it bears repeating. That was one of the most enjoyable, if not heart attack inducing games I've seen in quite some time. The Dolphins certainly don't get the credit they deserve. The defense was great today. Pound for pound (or inch for inch), Grimes is probably the best corner in the game. Plays way taller than he is. His interception in the end zone was simply amazing. I'm surprised that Stafford wasn't sacked more. There was plenty of push, and your edge rushers are no joke. Detroit's o-line and TEs actually did good today, which was a shock. Tannehill's decision making skills are better than I gave him credit for before the game. Aside from the interception, he put the ball in a place for his guys to make plays. If the Dolphins keep playing like this, with the schedule they have left, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see them in the playoffs this year. Thanks for chatting with me over the past week. You guys are some of the best fans I've interacted with this year. I like being able to talk football without the trash talk, and you guys are certainly a class act. Good luck with the rest of the season!!
Not trying to be a sore loser(I am though) but your team is dirty and your field sucks, hope the NFL starts banning artificial turfs. Other than that, good game.
Good game. You are welcome back to talk football anytime as far as I am concerned. You are a classy fan.
Great game between 2 good teams. I was afraid of a close game coming down to the wire, because that is where Stafford, that crazy hill-billy, thrives.
The Lions play like cheap bums. There was so much offensive holding that went uncalled. Never seen so many facemasks get pulled. And what was with the Lions defenders refusing to let go of the dolphins players when the play was over? Douche bags. youre welcome
They're a dirty team no doubt it could cause their demise in the playoffs this year. You're not penalized over 100 yards if you play clean and you can't consistently win if you're penalized 100 yards.
C'mon guys... Don't take it out on MST. If we hadn't lost Finnegan and Albert, we probably win this one. Still, the loss was on us for not doing more when had the opportunity to. Great game that came down to the final minute. Thanks for the posts, MST.
You sound like a nice guy. So, this is no knock on you personally. However, I have to say that the Lions are absolutely one of the dirtiest teams I've ever seen. I'd be embarrassed if I were a fan. In fact, I wouldn't be a fan if the Dolphins played like that. That's just my two cents.
Thanks. It was a great game. Please do not listen to the pathetic, cry baby, excuse making posters on this board.
It was a game I thought lived up to the hype. Lions are a good team imo. Better now that got Megatron back. Good luck rest of the way.
This was tough because we have such a brutal schedule. But the Lions are a play-off team, and VERY tough to beat at home. In Miami, 80+ degrees, grass...I think we win by a td or 10 - 11 points. We just are not that dominant and elite of a team yet, to win this game. We are good, but there are so many good teams in the AFC this season, it will be very hard to make the play-offs.
