@ProFootballDoc: BRANDEN ALBERT @MiamiDolphins unfortunately appears to suffer right Tibia and Fibula fracture. Carted off. Headed for surgery and IR. Posted in the game thread... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N900A using Tapatalk
Well not good to lose the best player on the OLine. Need to have a better gameplan against Buffalo than they've had in the previous few meetings that's gotten them to 1-4 against the Bills.
Some hope. @ProFootballDoc: Definitely not always correct on video. Saw another angle on Branden Alpert with knee. Revised opinion (but leave tweet and count as a miss) @ProFootballDoc: Only hope for BRANDEN ALBERT season is just severe MCL (no ACL or high/ankle/fx issue). Even then 6wks. Too bad. #FingersCrossed Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
I really hope it's not too serious, but from all accounts and it looked on tv, I'd say he's headed to IR.
He's right a lot of the times. At least he knows what he's looking for. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
It looked bad. I don't see him coming back this season. My hope is that he'll be able to return and play well next season. James looked good in his stead though. Hope he makes a full recovery. Fantastic leader, player for us. Feel terrible for him.
Biggest loss of the season, was Brandon Albert. Oh god, why couldn't you have just taken Wheeler, or Wilson, or Taylor? Why Albert?
He might be right but it's a bit gauche regardless. A physician shouldn't be trying to make diagnoses based on what he saw on TV.
It's most certainly a loss, but it's hard to suggest it's catastrophic when the offensive line seemed to play at least as good without Albert.
Sucks, turns out James was a brilliant pick at #19, and tbh, Thomas is much more of a natural tackle than a guard from my pov. Hope he recovers back the full health, seriously us fans look at injuries in the context of how it effects the team, for the athlete..he just broke his leg in two places and possibly messed his knee up. I wish him well
Does anyone know exactly what it is? Is it a fracture? A ligament tear? Both? Any physician who attempts a diagnosis without examining the patient is speculating.
Albert told teammates he needs surgery and is done for the year http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4805/branden-albert
With Albert out I fear for the rest of the season. Tannehill was running for his life out there so I'm not so optimistic about how well the team goes now.
When I saw the play I knew he broke his leg. That and the way they immobilized it before putting him on the cart. Get well soon Brandon Albert.
A broken leg is much better than a blown out knee. Still season ending but not career ending. We should know the correct diagnosis by tomorrow.
Multiple places are listing it as MCL and PLC injuries, but not ACL or broken bones. Hopefully, he can heal well and come back next season 100%.
Without Albert, there's no way we beat Buffalo. Their defense is better than the Lions' IMHO, particularly with Fairley out for the Lions.
Yeah this sucks. I know you can't tell the whole story from what you see on TV but when I saw him loaded in the cart and the look on his face, I knew he wouldn't be back this season. The look on his face said everything. Not just the pain, but the disappointment and sadness.
