Ok, I don't know the exact order but I believe we can win these next games in November. I believe it will be what allows us a sure fire shot at a playoff spot but also a shot a division title. Even though most of the division games are in December, I think this will help a lot. If we win these games, we should have a shot at a high seeding in the playoffs. My wording may be a bit off but I hope you get the point of what I am saying. What are you thoughts on the subject?
Dude, love the passion, but if you're gonna start a thread, you could go to the google and look up the schedule. That being said, our games are: Nov 2 - Chargers Nov 9 - @ Lions Nov 13 - Bills (Thurs night) Nov 23 - @ Broncos I expect us to go 2-2.
Thanks man, I should've done that. I think can go 3-1 losing to Denver. I would love to see Miami beat Denver but if we lost I hope its a close game and not a blowout or shutout.
They were talking about the upcoming Denver game on the Channing Crowder show today on 560am, Crowder said it was gonna be a "shootout", and was immediately corrected by his co hosts: "Its gonna be a murder, Peyton brings a shotgun, Tannehill brings a knife."
Denver will have things all wrapped by then especially if we beat the Chargers .Its not out of the realm of possibility that we beat them .In fact we have a history of beating SB champions during the regular season. Frankly I am more worried about beating the Bills who seem to be built to beat our weaknesses and is our current nemesis.
We're gonna come out with something to prove against Buffalo, in prime-time, at home, ready to smoke some ***! We'll jump out to AT LEAST a 14-0 lead on them in the first half...count on it.
I've made a decision that if they go 2-2 this month or 1-3 and still "in it" I'll look to go to the MNF game in NJ.
Well they do look different actually. They are no longer a running team with a mobile QB. They are a passing team with a pocket QB. We are built to stop them as they are now, we are not built to stop them as they were.
to heck with Buffalo this will be the game that we finally get even take it out on them and will beat them handily...will sack Orton probably 6 times and pick him off two or three times will find a way to block their Defensive tackles this game and we will run and throw it at will let's sell this game out also and be loud and Proud Dolfans.
Delmas didnt practice much in Detroit he sat out of practice all week long nursing his knees. This is true look it up. But I do expect Delmas to play at his best against his old team. He will be highly motivated. I'd be worried about DET their very tough at home and have been winning with a lot of their stars out with injury. Calvin, Bush, Ebron, Riddick, Pettigrew, KVN, and Fauria all have been out and all are expected to be back for the Miami match-up. DET hasn't had that many players healthy on Offense since week one when they lit up the NYG. Not to mention they have the top defense in the NFL.
Hello! The reason they have smoked us the last 3 times was not the mobile qb or running game its the defensive front that have owned our offensive line. So no we still dont matchup well with them.
I don't think we match up well in any of the next four games. But we have a fighters chance. Any win in the next four and ill be happy. Two wins and ill be ecstatic
It should allow our offense better starting field position and our defense a chance to make big plays. Better field position should lead to less offensive predictability. Plus we are at home on TNF where the overwhelmibg majority of hone teams win. The stars are lined up. If we can't beat them now we have a lot of changes to make if we ever want to.
This is a game that Detroit fans will be looking at very closely. As you said, they will be back at near full health after their bye, so this game will set the tone for what we can expect from the rest of their season. In years past, this is the point where they fall to pieces and go on losing streaks. The hope is that Caldwell and the new coordinators can keep the team focused and disciplined going down the stretch.
I think it all comes down to Tannehill and how he reacts to the pressure all 4 teams will throw at him. If he even plays average though with his typical 85 QBR type of game then I think we have a decent shot at going 2-2 in that stretch, possibly even 3-1. Honestly, Buffalo scares me more than Denver because I 100% trust our defense to keep the game close....it's what the offense does that's so unpredictable.
Just think..if Tanny could play very good in all 4 games with a QBR over 100 then our chances in all 4 games will be very high...easily 3-1..it's time for him now to raise his level even higher.
Hopefully working with Marino helped him with pocket presence and get a quicker release. He's a different QB when he's decisive than when he just stands there and taps the ball when the dam has broke. That's also the key to completing the long ball. Throw it when Wallace makes the break and has 2-3 yards separation. Any delay gives the corner and safety time to close the gap.
