Who's really that concerned about the Offence after the Jags game?

I hear ya, that first quarter was hella frustrating but the strategy Coyle used worked very well overall. It just took some time.

I said before the game Jax could play it safe and lose by 7 or go for the win and get plastered, they clearly went for the win and we all saw what happened. They came out swinging, used their best stuff early in the game and had nothing left later on. If not for Colledge sucking it would have been even worse.

 

Theres def improvement, aren't we trying to figure out how we can be the best we can be? you have to constantly figure out how to get better, I see a few ways taking the talent we have and maximizing it in the game plan..

 

On Sunday it was spelled defen6. Too bad we will be facing good QBs for the next month. No more feasting till we play the Jets ;(

i think you are right, i think we still figuring out what we do best, its game 8 coming up with the new offense, we have 3 games in a row were tannehill used his legs and gained considerable yardage, he even set a record of most games of 30+ runs the most since 2004 with 3 for a QB, that jacksonville game was tough, getting on the road and facing a 1-6 team was tough, to me it was unreal that the coaching staff would let a player go in there with a migraine, i actually suffer from that like every 6 months, were i wake up and can't do anything until i finally go to the bathroom and vomit, this takes around 6-8 hours, if i imagine someone would play any game with this or even a football game is uncalled for and the coaching staff should be ashamed for putting in a player significant less than 100%, colledge killed 2 drives with his play.

i expect a different team this sunday, facing a team with a better record and also much on the line going forward, lets just pray koa misi is back for this game, we need this mofo out there

 

And they're coming in on a 2 game losing streak...they're desperate and hungry.

 

We need Misi for sure..I think we take San Diego..as long as it does not come down to Sturgis for the win..side note, next time you have one of those try eating ice cream really fast or drink a slurpee it does help with some migrane's

I keep saying it. For better or worse that is the Coyle defense. He will always allow yards to the opponent. Always. Its based on the premise that the offense can't sustain long drives all game to the endzone. That they will sputter, make a mistake, get a flag, miss a pass....so on. That is why every team drives on us but we are relatively stout scoring wise usually.

I want to see more. I'm not overly concerned due to the reproducible nature of our previous success on offense. Seems like the blueprint is in place. The offense as a whole has been playing better this year, so thats promising. Edit: yup, what DJ said.

probably true,but before the jags game our D was 1st in the league in yards allowed per game, we are now 7th after the jags game
