We played really good in the GB game though. There will be times we play well and still lose, it happens to every team.

The thing is, many people are screaming for consistency from Tannehill and he's just got done playing three games very well. That should be reason for hope, no?

OK. Tannehill looked really good yesterday and he played a great game. The whole team outside of 3 plays on Special Teams played really well. I loved the game that Lazor called yesterday and the scheme, alot of moving Tannehill in the pocket, the read option and short to intermediate passes. THill was getting through his progressions quickly and made good decisions all game. I need to see him play more like yesterday on a week in week out basis and less of the THill that showed up in the first half of the Green Bay game. He has played 10 out of 12 good to great quarters the last three games and has shown that it is in him. If he can play at the level he has for those 10 quarters the rest of the season, more often than not and not have lows as low as that GB first half we will make the playoffs. I am pulling for him as every Dolphins fan should. It's in ours and the teams best interest to not have to go back to the drawing board at QB.

Let's all hope that the stars are finally aligned for him and the offense and we can get back to contending football again!

Also it was nice to see a game that didn't feature any major gaffs by the coaching staff as well. Kudos to the staff for having these guys ready and a solid plan in place. Game balls to Finegan and Grimes for a great game in the secondary too!

The one thing you're leaving out is the games where tannehill has looked bad is the same games where the offensive line got manhandled. The games and half where tannehill has looked good our offensive line played well. Coincidence?

I think we're taking it one game at a time, but yes, the Green Bay loss still hurts. We'll need one to go in our favor to make up for that. NE and Buffalo both got one of those wins this week, and if we keep playing to potential, it will happen for the Miami as well. Finnegan and Grimes need to play tight, and hopefully with Jordan coming back, Pouncey and Jones getting into game speed, we can continue to improve on defense.

He has had an impressive last 6 quarters. He completed the Bears game with a 123.6 passer rating, which is his career best and it's interesting that we play the Jags next Sunday as his previous career high of 123.2 was against them in Dec of 2012. Also, yesterday he became only the third player in NFL history to have a game in which he passed for at least 275 yards passing, a 78% completion percentage, and to run for at least 45 yards. This was previously only ever done by Ken Anderson in 1974 and Jeff Garcia in 2003.

The light is firmly on for him and the Coaches at this point, let's just hope it continues. We have a chance to beat the @Jags, Bolts, @Lions, and Bills, before we face the Broncos. Going on a 3 or 4 game winning spree would be nice. 7 and 3 would be fantastic right now heading into the Broncos game right before Thanksgiving.

Perhaps, but the line gave up 4 sacks in the FIRST HALF yesterday and Tannehill was still 14 of 15 with a TD no picks and I think 176 yards in that half. Clearly he has benefitted from better line play this year over last, but there are still times when the line lets them down. Its probably not a coincidence that his two worst game this year have come against the Bills and the Chiefs, teams that have great defensive lines that can bring pressure.

Tannehill's tendencies to tap the ball when the protection has failed lends to some unnecessary sacks. On the sack that created the long missed FG, Miller was open for a short gain after about 1.5 seconds into the play but Tannehill didn't release the ball and even after he escaped initial pressure on the first two sacks, he still did not throw the ball away. Those are mistakes he's not learned from and while I'm being overly critical I'll also point out that one throw to Landry was slightly behind which led to Landry losing balance after the catch. Also, with a sizeable lead, he's not letting the clock tick off the way great game managers like Rodgers and Manning do. Not sure if that's a flaw or if its by design to speed up the tempo. If Tannehill could correct his accuracy and pocket presence I think he could be an elite QB.

Agreed with all of the above.
