I just want to say that the RUDEST I've ever been treated in Florida was in Central Florida at a sports bar (Beef o'Gradys I believe). The local PACKERS geriatric crowd claimed it as their own.

We went in with a large Dolphins group (we were camping together at Highland Hammock) and watched the 1oclock game against the Jets last year (the heartbreaker) and the old farts were relentlessly rude trying to take all the seats away from us as we were getting up to use the restrooms or moving to talk further down the table. It was ridiculous!

They were relentlessly rude with all their sighing, seat stealing and booing the Dolphins as they waited to take over the room for their GB game. We were shocked. The waitress was on our side shaking her head. She said they treated everyone that way every week. I asked them how they were so many and they all were FROM Green Bay.

Point of long story....there are rude people everywhere.

That's a great shirt in the background, between the bloodied Packers fan who wet himself, and his mother-in-law who's screaming at him.

What is even more disturbing is the, quick to judge, attitude by people who had no idea what was really happening in the situation.

A bloody nose doesn't mean much, you can get one playing any sport, even golf. (one of many strange golfing stories)

Really? Are you calling me, and the others against such behavior, out with this post? I don't care what the circumstance, I can guarantee this was just a plain old @ss-whoopin. I really doubt the Green Bay fan was doing anything to warrant being set upon by multiple Miami fans. I've been to my share of games at Foxboro/Gillette, and I'm well aware of what happens when you combine opposing fans and copious amounts of alcohol.

I was all baffled listening on the radio, after every play you hear the crowd react first and I would get psyched after I would hear loud roaring cheers and the announcer would say "Jordy Nelson comes down with the grab..."

You can't guarantee anything. The crowd could just as easily been trying to break the fight up, pulling them apart. Even still, you poke a bee hive and you get bad results. Plain and simple.

The "crowd" was standing around watching and filming. What about the pic where the dude is clearly kicking him while he's held by a couple other people?

One time at a bar some ******* kept pinching my friends GF's butt when we were outside and she came out of the bar crying. Guess what happened to him? Kicked in the head just like that dude did by multiple people. He survived and I'm sure he thought twice the next time he went out. Some people get what they deserve. Guess who got taken in a cop car? Not us....

I don't condone acting like animals either. It's very easy to avoid a petty fight. But it's stupid to assume he was just an innocent bystander attacked by an angry mob. The women in those pictures look appalled by the asshat without the shirt. You know who takes off their shirts? People ready for a fight.

So...pinching your gf's butt means you have the right to kick him in the head? This is what I'm talking about. Unless someone was in immediate physical danger, there is no excuse for beating on someone. I'm surprised you didn't take a ride in a cruiser that night...you probably would here in NH...and probably should have. We don't live in a society that allows for vigilante justice. Someone harassing you or your gf? Call the cops.

Well, if we can't beat anyone on the field, we might as well beat someone off of it...

joking aside, inexcusable. Even if that guy was a provoker, there is no need for multiple people to attack him. That's not a fight. That's multiple idiots wanting to assault and batter someone.

I go to all the games going back to the OB and regularly take my sons now.

It has definitely become a worse environment. Fighting is more common. In the Pats game earlier this year, a few drunken females from Boston were kicked out early in the game for loudly and repeatedly cursing at surrounding fans.

I was also disappointed to hear "Turn Down for What" being blasted over the stadium speakers during the game. Nothing against the song. But if the Dolphins want to encourage people to bring their kids, it would help if they didn't play music that encourages drug use.

We will continue to go, but the atmosphere could definitely be improved.

if they jumped the guy, that's pretty inexcusable, ***** and a good way to land yourself in prison.
If they continued to kick the guy why he's down even if he was getting back up, that's a good way to land your *** in prison.

That's factually incorrect. Technically, grabbing someone's shirt is "assault," but i don't have the right to get three or four guys to kick someone in the head that grabbed my shirt. Best case scenario, in NH, both would be charged with Mutual Combat. Worst case, dude that was pinching gets simple assault and sexual assault (maybe a couple others), and the dude kicking him gets simple assault.

Everyone that is saying that things like this keep them from going to games is letting the bad guys win. If you aren't willing to change the
    the environment, don't complain.

It wasn't MY GF (I've been married almost 11 years) and I said he "KEPT pinching her butt until she cried". My sister was also there and came outside saying he's screaming in her face when she was demanding he stop. They were shook up. We heard enough. And the bar wasn't doing anything (don't ask why).

I myself did not kick him. I was on the ground with one the jerks' friends after he punched me in the forehead. I was on top and could've put him in the hospital if I wanted to (thank you very much :tongue2:). I restrained myself and after it was over I helped the guy up and warned him, then went back outside with the girls.

Random people at the bar kicked him too. While the rest of the idiots were leaving people came out and threw stuff at the car, kicked the car and threatened them until they got away. People were mad. He was out of line and people had judged his friends "guilty by association".

YOU can handle the situation how you like. Some people are not the type to call the cops and let him run off before they get there, or threaten to sue like a lot of people do now a days. Some people handle it a little old fashioned. It's not always the right thing to do, I agree. In this case justice was served by the people.

I'm not saying that some people don't deserve it...they do. I'm saying that just because someone deserves it, doesn't mean that it's still ok to do it. Know what I mean? Like, I work with juvenile delinquents. Pretty frequently, they deserve to get beat on, but I can't allow it to happen, no matter how much I may want to.

Yes, It's not always right. That is your job though. In a basic world people get what they deserve...literally. You poke a bees nest and you get stung, you mess with a bull and you get the horns, you assault someone's GF and you get your head kicked. It's really simple.

No I DO NOT believe in sawing off hands for stealing!

Resnor...if you have never been to the stadium here with all of the obnoxious opposing teams fans then you don't know what is like here. Not all opposing fans but most of them are complete jerks especially with alcohol in them as well as some of our fans...but it is our house..I have been going to games for over 40 years and I know when I am in another teams house I know to be respectful...just like Arodgers 12 is in these forums...Sometimes you just have to fight...call the cops for minor things..plz..nobody needs to put up with jail, bail, fines, court
, and probation for this crap...plain and simple, don't run your mouth and be disrespectful to people regardless of fandom.

Imagine going into a Steelers bar IN Pittsburgh and acting an *** after a close game with pissed off drunk people all around, getting beat up and then telling everyone when you got home "man, those people in Pittsburgh are rude!". If you had any outer perspective you would slap yourself in the face for being an idiot.

But again, who knows what happened here.

Dude...I'm a Dolphins fan, and I've attended numerous Phins/Pats games at Foxboro and then Gillette. I think I know about obnoxious, complete drunk jerk fans. There are tons at Gillette. I stopped wearing Miami gear when I went, because everytime I spent the entire game with drunk jerks trying to get in fights with me or my buddy. And no, we were not disrespectful, or obnoxious, or anything. Simply targeted because we were Dolphins fans.

Then what was your point? I don't have to go to SunLife Stadium to understand drunk opposing fans. Even understanding drunk opposing fans doesn't justify physical violence. There's literally nothing that you can say that will justify getting into a fight with a belligerent, drunken fan, unless that person is potentially going to do serious physical harm to you (in other words, not simply pinching you, or other silly things that are technically simple assault).

Just because someone is disrespectful in no way gives you the right to physically assault them.

You obviously don't get it. And now you are totally minimizing the wrong doing on the other persons behalf.

That sounds like a person who has very little self respect. I do not. Stand up for yourself and the ones you care for.

Sounds like someone that has self-respect for himself, and for civility. If you think standing up for yourself entails beating someone, you need to grow up.
