a stud qb or a dominant defense could always inspire, first one we haven't had in 15 years, 2nd, never in my lifetime.

Wow, it's all or nothing for you. I get that. You still read about them probably to kill some time. I guess you got pumped up many years with a crowd and party and the Dolphins games turned out to be duds. So I'm sure that was a turn off as well as just no interest in general. Personally, I'm not interested in any sports except the Dolphins. I don't care too much for other NFL games, I'll watch now and then but I don't get into them. But I watch all the Dolphins games.

Non Athletic Sport Centered Around Rednecks.

To me it is booooooorrrrrrriiiiinnnnggg as hades to watch a bunch of cars drive around in a circle, or oval, for hour after hour. :)

They are getting too damned fancy. It isn't about the game anymore. I long for the days of places like the Polo Grounds, Crosley Field, and the Orange Bowl. Where real sports were played by real people. Not these fancy pants overpaid prima donnas we have today.

Problem is that a couple months ago I promised my cousin that if I got the tickets, I'd take her to the game. I moved out here 11 years ago and she has made me feel at home. I'm a man of my word, so I put my foot in my mouth when I asked her to go...lol

That could be true, but my love for the NFL has gone bye-bye. I know I gave you crap about the new logo, but that really hasnt affected me in my thinking about the NFL. I havent spend a penny on the league in 3-4 years. Cant remember the last hat or shirt I bought. I bought some Colorado Avs stuff last year and still buy a couple Tony Stewart tee's, but nothing from the NFL. Wish I still had the passion, but the game I grew up with is gone. I really dont find todays nfl that enjoyable.
When I called Directv this year, I had every intent to cancel the Sunday Ticket, but the guy gave it to me for free. I didn't ask for it, he offered. Thought that was nice of him. Some people have horror stories about Directv, but I've never really had any issues with them.
Something in my life is changing, just don't know what it is.....

That is a part of it, its not a game anymore. It's about money any nothing else. College football is the same if not worse.

For me, the only good thing about yesterday is that the Jets got beat. I still hate the friggin Jets.
