I do agree that the NFL needs a higher expectation from it's polayers, but thats on league leadership which has shown itself to be less accountable and more insidious than the players

Again, do you have any evidence of this whatsoever? Because I know that Obama has not been as transparent in his governance as he promised. That's not controversial, it's an accepted fact by people on both sides of the aisle politically. AFAIK, there is no evidence that former President Bush used drugs while in office or after, or that drug use had any effect on his National Guard service.
So unless you do, perhaps you should just drop it.

I was making a comparison on how untransparent Goodell seemed..and like it or not our sitting POTUS is about as transparent as a brick wall. I could have said all presidents of the US..but seems a bit wordy dont ya think?

Sorry if my choice of words offend you and makes me someone you would not want to share a beer with. Of course since I don't use alcohol or any type of drugs, I obviously don't sit around and spend much time with individuals who like to indulge in these activities.

I prefer to experience the world as it is and not through the haze of alcohol or drugs. If that is the way you prefer to experience the world, so be it, but you are "that guy", I really wouldn't want to be around in the first place.

 

But, how do you make it through most Dolphins games without beer?

 

I don't drink either...maybe 3 or 4 beers a year.

Drinking amplifies your feelings...so if you're pissed off at the game, it just makes it worse. I see it as saving myself a lot of money, since whereas I may WANT to throw my remote through the TV, if I was drunk, I would.

 

I watch the game on my outdoor patio here in Maui. I have the mountains and the ocean as my backdrop and when the game gets stressful, all I have to do is look at all the surrounding landscape and realize that life is great, no matter how the Dolphins are playing.

 

Offend me? Bro.....in the real world if you don't want to drink a beer....don't drink a beer. I couldn't care less. I applaud you for taking the high road and experiencing life in 1080P. I'm going to have a beer and be around friends and people who like to enjoy life's fruits and it's vices. If you want to join me.....and have an O'Douls that's fine. If you wanna sit in the corner and keep score as you float over us plebians upon your righteous stallion....that's fine too. Just make sure the horse doesn't spill my beer!

Jordan starts practicing this week, wonder if he is in shape, or overweight

 

Anything positive at all from him this year, IMHO, is bonus. Pretty much had him written off for 2014.
