At this point im hoping the bills are taking our d line lightly. in any sense of the word. All week we got to hear how tom brady was being clocked with the fastest post snap release in the nfl in the preseason with their super fast screen and slant game and how the ball would be released too fast for our d line to have an impact. He then proceeded to eat dirt and have phins in his face all day to the point where mr tom brady was the worst qb in the nfl on week 1. Cam wake is going to have an absolute field day and i feel like they will obligated to maintain a constant double team on him. Tannehills protection this game will be night and day from what it was last season and i predict a much much much more impressive showing from him this game as well as from clay and our RBs in the passing game.
Tannehill is normally very good against the Blitz. I hope they do. Clay will have a big game with Alonso out imo. I see Gibson and Hartline getting big days as well across the middle and a lot of hot routes due to your front pressure. A lot of quick passes, slants, hitches, and screens in our gameplan I reckon. One thing I'd like to see is a few draw plays once you have your defense with ears pinned back. This game will be very close, all divisional ones are. However, I think Miami is very lucky to be going to Buffalo in September. I see it being a nail biter.
I think the Bills need to mix in blitzes, not blitz all day. Schwartz is the kind of guy who wants to get to the QB with 4 on the line, and the Bills have the talent to do that, so perhaps I'm wrong that they will blitz more. The Bills historically have a tough time against good TEs, so I wont refute that Clay may have a big game. Bennett had a pretty good game against them last week, so I think its probable that Clay will have a good game too. The one wildcard is Bradham is back after his suspension and he's better than Preston Brown in coverage. We'll see. As far as slot coverage, I believe Nikel Robey is one of the best in the business. He does well covering the slant routes and quick hitches. He gets into trouble when he gets put on larger targets. Not sure how it happened, but a few times he had to cover Marshal, maybe a pick play or something. That's where he got burned a couple of times. But put him in the slot, and there arent many better. Gilmore returning this week will help in the pass defense tremendously also. I agree, it will be a nail biter! Good game to the end!
has anyone seen that love fest on ESPN....i´m stunned http://espn.go.com/video/clip?id=11506588&ex_cid=espnapi_public
Nice! I agree, I think Knowshon will show up in a big way, and he seems to really be showing Lamar how it's done in a way that seemed to rub off. Big-Play Clay needs to show up this week. He could be the X-Factor.
I can never understand a word he says. He's always got Robert Kraft's macaroni and cheese in his mouth. Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk
Looking forward to a good game. Your defensive line always brings it and out o line is much improved from last year. Something has to give. Sent from my LG-MS770 using Tapatalk
I think both lines are very close. I wouldn't put one above the other in general. Each week one may outperform the other. Bottom line is give me either front four and I'm happy.
I know the Bills will try a delayed blitz from a linebacker through the left side B gap. Hopefully, there is not a repeat of the mistake made during the Patriots game.
Didn't he do that quite a bit in his first game against the Bills? I would like to see him use his athleticism a little more. Haven't really seen it on full display since the Saints fumble.

I saw PFT had something on it. Didn't even bother reading it. I wish Turner luck in whatever comes his way next, but I'm over it.
we'll we ran the ball like 28 times out if the formation, so I'm happy that I don't have to debate that it's here to stay anymore..the cool thing about this formation is that it's such a pain in the *** to decipher, it has so many options pending in what the defenders do..you can really make these folks look silly trying to guess where we're going. If Ryan can check himself in the moment and learn to run some from the formation and learn to run from a traditional pocket as well, it will be so much more dangerous.. He has hasn't shown the wherewithal yet to understand this key element to qb'ing, but I will continue to hope for all our sake.
When I looked at him coming out of college I thought that while he looks the part, I don't believe he sees a lot of the field, lets call it a compartmentalized way of seeing the field..
they vote friday afternoon, if it goes through they are allowed to play, didn´t tell if it would be week 2 or 3 though, i hope its for sunday, we need an extra body out there with our banged up LB Core ryan tannehill has never passed for over 200 yards at buffalo, i hope that changes this sunday
Buffalo vs Miami - Battle of the Rookie Right-Tackles Of course James will be up against Mario Williams at some point, however, the Bills will have 7th round-pick Seantrel Henderson up against Cam Wake. Apparently Marrone is confident. So will the two veterans come out on top, or will one or both rookies see some success?
No he wasn't. Peyton Manning was sacked less and played almost double the snaps. To get a more accurate picture of the Bears, you need to combine Cutler's and McCown's sacks.

That's my bad for not looking it up for myself. I heard an "expert" on one of those programs say that. I have been corrected! Bills fans are fallable of course lol.
DJ..I think there is more to him running then what you think. Bill Lazor is pretty strict about things like that. For example last week, if he is given the option to keep, or hand off, he obviously made the right call, given the success we had on the field. I would much rather him do that, then risk injury by taking a hit. I saw no examples in the game last week where Tannehill should have kept the ball and run. Ryan KNOWS how to run the ball....
That's a blow! Preston Brown will be pressed into action again. Last week it was for Bradham and now for Rivers. He was a liability last week. Wouldn't be a surprise to see you guys picking on his side of the field.
Well let him shade the RB then, because watching EJ's highlights he definitely is a checkdown guy. He threw a LOT to the RB's... I was pleasantly impressed with his coverage last week!
I see people making a thing of Keith Rivers being out but the fact of the matter is Nigel Bradham comes off his one game suspension and he should be the starter anyway.
so if jordan and jones get back next week if this agreement is made, who are you cutting ? Sammy Seamster and Bruce Gaston or is it jason fox
