    Suber Bowl count

    Dan Marino + Ryan Tannehill = 0

    Tom Brady = 3

    That's gotta hurt.

The last resort of a Pats hater who has no argument and no understanding of what actually happened and how it gave the Pats absolutely no advantage.

    Tom Brady >>>>>>> Dan Marino

    It's not even close

If anything, that has to be more embarrassing? "We cheated, but it didn't actually help us".

We've been the winningest team since it happened, made 2 SBs (which we lost by an average of 3.5 points) and made 4 AFCCGs. Clearly we've just fallen completely off since then.

Winning SBs is difficult to do. I know we made it seem easy in the early 2000s, but it's really not. We certainly put up a much better fight than Forehead and the Broncos, though.

Is this what you do? , go around other teams websites telling them how intelligent you think your are?... Lol, that is so pathetic you do realize that yes?, you do know it shows a complete lack of self awareness and immaturity, and is the type of person I try to teach my son how not to be..

You need to check yourself, cause if you are this pathetic on a football forum chances are you have issues in real life...

It's football, when you want to have a civil conversation about the game instead of immediately trying to intellectually humiliate us, first apologize, then we can go from there..

That's why I am laughing. I love how this guy thinks his academic pedigree on a rivals' team message board makes him feel vastly superior. I think we found out who took the naked pics of JLaw and Kate Upton, because, math.

We did the exact same thing everyone else was doing. Except instead of using a pen and paper we used a camera. How is that any kind of advantage?

That's a very absurd question. Going to a 3-4 defensive front wasn't an advantage for us, but we still did it. How the hell am I suppose to know what goes on in Bill's mind?

    Absurd?

Listen carefully Chucklehead. Your bs contention is that the only difference between what BB did and the rest of the league did was use a camera instead of "pen and paper". Even if that were true (which it of course is not) then switching to a camera was clearly against the rules. That means BB knew what he was doing was wrong, but he felt the difference was so great it was worth the risk.

See, even from a logic standpoint, your own BS lie doesn't hold up.

You're wrong, again. No surprise there.

People much more knowledgeable than you - HOF coach Jimmy Johnson being one of them - have gone on record as stating that there is no advantage to what Belichick did. Goodell even acknowledged that the videotape wasn't used during a game to gain any kind of advantage.

For doing exactly what other teams were doing - only instead of using a pen and paper they used a camera, which was against the rules for some reason.

So, if there's no clear advantage to using a camera instead of paper and pencil, why risk breaking the rules?

Which is exactly what I just said.

Maybe this will help you: http://www.rif.org

If its illegal why did BB risk it if it didn't give him a benefit? Ask some of your Pat friends to help you think this through.

Apparently a lot of people were doing it, since the memo was sent out to everybody. Not just to Bill. Maybe the rules weren't clear and not understood by everyone? Jimmy Johnson's take on it,

"This is exactly how I was told to do it 18 years ago by a Kansas City Chiefs scout. I tried it, but I didn't think it helped us." Johnson also said, "Bill Belichick was wrong because he videotaped signals after a memo was sent out to all of the teams saying not to do it. But what irritates me is hearing some reactions from players and coaches. These players don't know what their coaches are doing. And some of the coaches have selective amnesia because I know for a fact there were various teams doing this. That's why the memo was sent to everybody. That doesn't make [Belichick] right, but a lot of teams are doing this."

Answer the question before you insult anyone else's intelligence.

If it didn't give BB an advantage, why did he risk breaking the rules?

I have no idea. It's an irrelevant question. The most obvious reason would be that it's more convenient. It's more convenient to record something and then re-watch it later than it is to write it down and read it. But the information gathered is the exact same.

A lot of teams were doing it, so that would indicate that either the rule was not well known or it was not strictly enforced by the league. Therefore, in his mind he wasn't risking breaking the rules.

And you come on here questioning our intelligence?

You're assuming he knew he was risking anything. What you can't prove is the fact that using a camera was a bigger advantage than using a pen and paper.

Jimmy Johnson seems to agree with my assertion that it was not an advantage.
