Great post! Brady won a Super Bowl with the 1st, 2nd, and 5th ranked defenses in the NFL. Manning won a Super Bowl with the 23rd ranked. Brady has played only 2 seasons with a defense ranked worse than 15th in the league. He made the playoffs in one of those years. Manning has 8 seasons where he played on a team with a defense ranked worse than 15th and he made it to the playoffs in 7 of those seasons. You could take nearly any average QB in the league and win 11 or more games a season on the Pats over the last 10-12 seasons.
Which started by the NFL handing you the win over the Raiders by inventing a ridiculous rule that didn't even apply to the situation. Im not Raiders fan, but they were clearly the better team and they were robbed. After that you guys got by, by "miraculous" lucky breaks and rule changes until the whole thing nearly blew up by spygate. I wish we got to know more about it because I'm sure the Rams, Panthers, and Eagles would like to know if they legitimately lost their SBs. You can use the excuse that everyone cheats, but you guys were the only ones caught, therefore that blanket statement doesn't work because we have no evidence that other teams did this. We only know for certain YOUR TEAM did it. Until then, all of the Patriots wins should have an asterisk by them prior to the revelations. If I knew my team cheated and won SBs because of it, I'd be ashamed. It wouldn't feel right. But since the Patriots were garbage prior to 9/11(hint hint), I guess I can see why you'd want to stand by your wins as its the only time your team was relevant aside from beating us in 85 when you got slaughtered by the Bears. Congratulations though, I hate the Patriots much more now than the Jets, and I never thought that would happen. Most of the NFL and America hates your team too and trust me, its not envy.
Manning's defense in the playoffs have had lower points per game average than Brady's. That argument is invalid.
Some love the Pats. Some hate the Pats. That's a direct result of sustained success. No one really cares about the Dolphins. That's a direct result of sustained mediocrity.

Boring *** thread.. Here's the thing, they threw everything that could at us in the first half schematically, and our Qb played like crap, once they couldn't get yards thru misdirection and deception and we just stayed true to the players in front of us, game over.. Great news for us..our coverage guys were better, which allowed us to tee off on that ***.

You just don't understand where they are coming from. They got destroyed by an inferior team because they were using their time to gameplan for when they get even more thoroughly manhandled by better teams than us....and then.... superbowl.... or something
And the truth is, they may yet make the Super Bowl this year, or they may not. Nobody has one iota of a clue after week one what ANY team is going to do (although Seattle looks freak'ish...just sayin')... But to get beatdown like they did...???...that was just pure embarrassment for them, love it! We put them behind the 8 ball for now, and they don't like it.
