I apologize for the trash talking and want to acknowledge that we flat out suck.. - Our once star quarterback is washed up, despite being a year younger then Peyton, who for some reason is still an elite QB - Our offensive line sucks, and trading Logan Mankins was the dumbest move we made since releasing Ty Law - Our coordinators are idiots and you defensive line in Starks, Verner, Wake are among the best in football. - Tannehill might be one of the AFC's best quarterbacks and Charles Clay is a great weapon and those receivers are very good - Revis is not what he used to be and is washed up as well, like Wilfork... we are the has beens of the AFC East in my opinion
Good job dude. Respect for coming back here like a man. I'd say good luck the rest of the season, but I can't be having that.
Class move dude...gotta give it to you. This game today is the VERY reason I don't go to other boards talkin' smack. You NEVER know.......
Brady was very inaccurate in the second half. Head down on the sideline, in a towel shaking his head...I don't know. If it's that easy to make him give up, your coach has a lot to think about.
Our d line is indeed monstrous. Mad props and a close game. I was surrounded by pats fans all game at the stadium
That is how Brady always has been and always will be when he gets roughed up. Through the years the Patriots have done a great job keeping him clean enough for him to shine. Tonight they didn't.
Props to you for showing up. As far as Brady goes he was never THE offense the same way manning is. Different qb's IMO. Maybe it's me but I sensed some sarcasm in that post
Classy move. Pats had an off day. I'd love to think that this portends the future, but Im not going to count on it.
I think the Dolphins were the better team today, but it is hard for any team from the north to come down to Miami and play in the heat and humidity in September. A lot of your top players are also your older players and they just look like they wore down in the second half. There are still a lot of games to be played and I'm sure the Patriots will be heard from before the season is over. It is just nice to know that the Dolphins have won the last two meetings with the Patriots and now have to be seen as a serious threat in the AFC East this year.
Nice of you to take your medicine, but as another poster stated, seem like a little sarcasm... Anyways you know your team is better than this and I believe even though BB won't admit it, the heat had a little to do with it... as well as Brady can't complete many passes on his back...
Us knowledgeable fans were able to come to these conclusions prior to the game being played. ... well atleast the Tom Brady and Miami Defensive line points!
Any time your team loses, they suck...but as long as you have BB, you'll be in the running. As to Brady, I think the armor is finally chinked...Take it from a long time Fin fan, when your superstar QB starts to decline, you'll get willies in your tummy every time he plays now... As for the rest of the NFL, thank God that it's finally starting...
This is what I don't understand about Brady.. I mean Brees is only one year younger and he is still playing great.. Peyton is a full year older coming off of neck surgery for crying out loud and he is still great, then whats wrong with Tom? He is in between Brees and Manning in age.. I just don't understand how he can decline before them?
No this post as butt hurt from me and demoralization written all over it, because of what we displayed.
I think Brady's hip was a factor; he threw well until he took a few hard hits in the 2nd quarter. Have faith in your team, they will still grind out 10 wins, or find a way to cheat the system to get them anyway.
Pass rush. Every time Miami has taken out the Patriots it's because we've knocked Brady on his butt. 4 sacks and several big hits shook him up.
Bradys calf might be worse that suspected especially if its his drive foot...Pats looked rusty gronk and wilfork have a lot to shake off...Pats will get stronger as the season progresses but I think the may have been slightly overrated by the pundits this year. and props for coming back.
Brady looks scared of getting hit these days. Also, he's just not as hungry anymore. That's natural. It's easy for Manning to stay hungry, and Brees is still hungry because he sucked for his first 3 years.
I don't think it was sarcasm. His opinions were extreme on the homer side before the game and are extreme now that he's demoralized. Truth is neither opinions were or are accurate, or to put it ironically, knowledgeable. lol The truth, of course was/is somewhere in the middle. IIRC Brady was something like 5-6 in Miami coming in. He's had some poor games against Miami before. He had about a 70 rating today. He's been in the 70s several times against us and I think he even had a 55 or so rated game back in 2006 or 07. He wasn't done or washed up then and he isn't now.
Sounds like what ESPN's post game analysis will be like. Patriots sucked, the Dolphins win was just a product of the Patriots not playing well. Honestly would have been more impressed if you gave the Dolphins run game more compliments. Cam Wake's fantastic snap jumping and speed around the corner. But... at least you came back.
