    Hamilton is a freaking machine.

For all the rankings analysts out there who don't have him number one, time to wake up people, I think he may have finally got your attention.

Slow down bro. Hitting balls 500' off a 71 year old BP pitcher is impressive, but game situations are a little bit different.

Hes not No. 1 yet because of guys like Pujols who have been around for a few years and continue to mash even though every pitcher in the league has a legitimate knowledge of their scouting report.

Hey no disrespect to Albert, been doing it for a long time now, but ask FRod, who is not a 71 yr old what Josh can do in a clutch game situation

Its subjective of course, but Hamilton gets my vote half way through the year as the best player this year. I hate it because he plays in the AL West, which doesn't help my A's too much.

And for the scouting report angle, pitchers seen a guy a few times, there are certain players like Albert, who it doesn't matter their gonna hit off anyone , no matter how many times a pitcher has seen him. I'm going to go out on a limb and say Hamilton is one of those guys. I don't think his success just this year was because pitchers haven't seen him enough. If he keeps it clean, he'll be doing this for a long time, there's not many safe places to pitch to him.

But just my opinion, still a second half of a season to prove it of course.
