I dunno...there seems to be a big log-jam of cut RBs this year. There's a ton of young guys with upside out there. He's going to be hard-pressed to fit in somewhere IMO.

TBH, he was to passive in the preseason, that fair catch still bothers me As a returner, you have to make things happen esp with your job on the line
Now you have to worry about inexperienced returns. Was it Don Jones that was blocked into Thigpen and fumbled last year. Hopefully Landry and Williams secure the ball and escape injuries.

Thigpen was always an average to below average punt returner. When he had a good one, it was a remarkable exception. Thomas was a power back without power or balance. Good luck to both.
Thigpen's strengths are versatility and kick returns. Now that we are loaded at WR and RB, and he muffed a catch, his boat sailed.
There are already several that I'd take over what we have. We'll have options that we should explore at the end of the day.
I thought he was misued tbh, if your one trick is returning kicks for Td's you may want to shine in that role
Thomas seemed to have everything you would want in a running back physically except he didn't think like a running back
