This is such a poorly coached team.. it really is… Rams run a blitz and their LBer hit the hole directly behind a pulling guard (Dallas THomas doesnt recognize the play) bam running gets hit for a five yard loss. We run a blitz and two of our defenders run directly into the "same" OT… and Jenkins blitz's just in time to clear for the WR to come wide open.

You cant coach a guy to be aware. It either develops in time, a guy just has it, or it never develops. You can tell a guy what to look for a million times but he may never see it. Its like the saying you can lead a horse to water but you cant make it drink.

 

Your telling me our backups cant execute a defense they have been working on for 5 weeks now?

I believe that was backup line backer for the Rams that had the perfect blitz… was it not.

Look, I dont have a problem with them trying to execute the defense and not be able to because they are not good enough… but really, they looked like a bunch of bozos out there running into the same OT.

 

Or a guy made a good play.

 

Backup defense gave up a FG drive we are doomed and everyone should be fired. Cut all 53 players and find new ones. Fire Philbin and let Aponte coach this year.
