See, now Miller is going to mitigate that inexperience/clutch thing. BUT, it's going to happen at the expense of the maturation and experience of that young core. Every minute Miller is on the floor is a minute of experience for a young guy that gets pushed into the future.
I think it speaks volume of Wade's ability, character, and the organization as a whole. With Miami, it starts at the top with Arison and trickles down through Riley, Spo, the coaching staff, players, and down to the interns as we have seen. Just a true first class organization that takes care of its own and is as professional as it comes. Wade's talent aside, I think players see how well the Heat treats players during and after their playing careers. It's a shame the selflessness of those who take discounts gets overlooked so often. That aside, it's clear that Miami is desirable for it's talent, class, and competitiveness year in and year out. Damn I love this team.
No idea what nationality he is, but from this picture I imagine an evil russian accent, him petting a big fluffy white cat while saying "Miami....your Lebron are belong to me now"
@AlbertRandom1 1h Chicago Bulls have waived Carlos Boozer via amnesty provision. The waiver period lasts 48 hours, until 5:00 PM Thursday. JESUS H CHRIST! MORE waiting!
David Blatt is Israeli, the NBA higher ups religion are Jewish, the Cavs were rewarded the first pick, Lebron returns...not trying to sound like a tin foil hat guy but I wouldn't be surprised if the NBA rigs it for the Cavs to reach the finals...hmmm
@AlbertRandom1 1h If you want me to be realistic, I’d say he won’t clear waivers. RT @AustinManey Do we have a realistic shot at him if he clears waivers?
@AlbertRandom1 55m No one bids at least the minimum requirement. RT @hunnersmith5 exactly what does it take to clear amnesty waivers?
@AlbertRandom1 51m If Mike Miller signs for Cleveland’s Room MLE, Heat will get $971,564 of set-off on his $6.6M salary.
Kevin Mchale on Rockets summer league broadcast states "We wanted Chris Bosh because he is one of the top centers in the league"
@AlbertRandom1 46m Wade, Deng have signed. Don't think Bosh has yet, right? Can't tell you if Heat will have room for Boozer bid until I know all amounts. @EthanJSkolnick 45m Heat make Luol Deng signing official, as expected. @AlbertRandom1 44m Nope. His cap hold is $20.6M. RT @JCFSports Would it be possible to wait on signing Bosh, bid on Boozer, and then sign Bosh to go over cap? @AlbertRandom1 34m As things worked out, keeping Mike Miller would’ve cost Heat another $13M this past season (his spot taken by Mason, then Liggins, then Ham) @AlbertRandom1 34m That’s not fair though b/c Heat didn’t know at the time that it could trade Joel Anthony; was projected at the time to be closer to $20M @AlbertRandom1 31m Last tweets were a complete aside. Miller does not factor into Heat's cap situation (though does factor into financial situation).
Interesting quote in two respects.... Deng keeps us VERY relevant.... and he bridges us to the next great offseason in 2016.
He managed to double dribble and get fouled twice hard on the same possession with no call. These refs are terrible.
Man, that's the main reason I wanted to watch this game was because of him lol, lets see what Napier can do with a bunch of scrubs.
Ok so 2016. Obviously we (and everyone else) make a play for Durant. If we don't get him though what would plan B be?
Guess we owe him a fishing trip then. Not pictured: Kyrie Irving, Dion Waiters, etc. the rest of the team. Lebron left them behind; classic Lebron.
Ennis pulled a groin actually, he might get shut down to make sure he's 100% for training camp now that he's pretty much officially on the roster.
Maybe at a reduced contract. let me explain something to you all in case you think I am engaging in hyperbole.... The Next TV deal is gonna be DOUBLE! 2016..we can find ourselves with this current roster on Bird rights.....still in the city of Miami...and with enough cap space for TWO Max contracts or 1 Max and 2 Luol Deng's. Riley can build a MONSTER in 2016, and we are in as good or better position than ANYBODY in the NBA.
