Nearly scored again. Great effort by Julio Cesar.

    Damnit, Neymar.

Probably goes down as a win for Mexico. To tie with Brazil; though this is not the Brazil team of yesteryears.

He stepped on BOTH Matthews and Ford today. Good stuff. Him not being assertive enough have been a concern of mine. Hated last season when he let things go like with Wallace getting away with things like bad routes, pouting, or being a loner. Hoping Tannehill continues to grow in this regard as well as his other QB attributes.

I'm not sure the homo-eroticism of soccer even comes close to matching that of football.

Judging by Tannehill's interview, Anthony Johnson might have had a pick at the LOS today as well. Its him vs. Francis for that last DT spot.

As long as Pierre MacGuire is working for NBC Sports, no sport will be more homoerotic than hockey right now.

No. Its origins were from England although its not 100%. 99% yes. The same as Rugby and errrr ...Soccer. Also known globally as football. The World Cup is actually entertaining. At least whoever wins that tournament can actually by definition be called "World Champions". See what I just did? Yeah I'm bored but its a good talking point. Plus I'm right. ;)))

He has to play better to gain respect. No one wants to see a mediocre quarterback yelling at his teammates like he did today.

Lol nice one. Right cause position breakdowns. Who's starting. Our new offense. And the progress of our young quarterback isn't getting me excited. The guys in shorts and helmets are.

Difference is this practice with shorts has about as much action as an every 4 year World Cup.

He is going into his 3rd season and making very good strides doing so as well as learning a new offense. "Mediocre" or not, it's his job to correct the receivers when they screw up and to assert himself as the leader of the offense. From what was printed, Matthews stopped on a route and Ford had a false start. They should have been corrected and were.

And why do we think euros don't like American football, maybe because theres 5 to 7 seconds of action, most of the time resulting in 3 to 4 yard gains, then 40 seconds of nothing but walking back to a huddle and doing sh$$...

Soccer is constant in that regard.

So I'm sure they have every reason to think our sport is boring as hell..

Cause they don't understand it and it's not part of their culture growing up.

Hopefully folks who criticize the game aren't doing so because that's what they think is the cool thing to do, hopefully they actually try and give it a real chance..

Vernon at LA fitness again today... and I figured out who the Somoan is that he's always working out with... Isaako Aaitui.

I know that Aaitui is listed as 45lbs heavier that Vernon... but that's bull ****. No way Vernon is 268lbs. Has to be at least 280lbs-285lbs... dudes enormous.

Still can't believe the left a tie.

Mexico's goalie was playing out of his mind though; it's not like Brazil didn't have some great shots on goal. Just 90 minutes of great defense by both squads.

My point is let's see him do that to Mike Wallace. It's easy to do that to a seventh round pick and a rookie free agent that's been in the league 5 minutes.

I was looking at this dude the other day, and I've been on the record stating how impressive his physique and strength is since he entered the league, but it's not doing him justice by saying that, this dude is only 23 years old man, his body is highly mature for that age, he may just blow up the league on strength alone..he's a friggin monster..
