IMO, you're eating dessert to get to Candyland.

Fair warning, a lot of people don't like 3. It's a combination of some questionable mission design and what is perceived as a less interesting lead character following Ezio.

I did NBA2K career, did a center got drafted on Atlanta, beat the Bulls, Pacers, Heat, and OKC to get the first ring as a rookie at 18, Not very challenging, and it was glitchy on normal so if I put it up to hard it would just pissed me off....So I beat it in a way....

Took about three weeks for Brotherhood, three days for Revelations. Desides, what is about Brotherhood that makes it your favorite? For me, I really enjoyed Revelations a lot more than Brotherhood but I see consensus has Brotherhood being better.

Brotherhood is a pain in the ***. The middle sequences (especially the play) took me days and days to finish. I got to the point where I was just getting pissed.

I recall liking Brotherhood the best as well, but it has been a while since I played.

Beat Infamous: Second Son on Sunday. I loved it, just wish I had stuff to keep doing after beating it.

Setting, writing, variety of ways to assassinate without being overly complex, rewarding when you put in the effort (especially the damn Romulus scrolls), reasonable difficulty, and anything related to Cesare.

I also thought it handled Desmond very well. We finally got to do things as him, in ways that tied in very nicely with AC2.

Basically, Brotherhood has the most personality.

I also enjoyed the Desmond scenes, would have maybe liked a little more even if it was popping out of the Animus to get a few lines of dialogue (which happens some). I've seen where some people don't like the modern day storyline but I like how it ties things together, even if it's a little out there.

I guess for me Brotherhood just felt like an expansion to 2, that there wasn't enough to really separate Brotherhood from its predecessor. I also didn't do a lot of extra stuff because I tend to skip side stuff for the main story in games and was eager to get to the next game, so some of Brotherhood I didn't see. With Revelations I got that new game feel because I arrived to a new town off a ship and I'm like okay, what now? I really liked the new setting and the story in Revelations, plus I really enjoyed two of the dungeons.

I probably wasn't going do much extra stuff with Revelations but see there's a Hagia Sophia level and that was one thing I was sad wasn't in the game, being able to enter the Hagia Sophia. Guess I'll do that and then maybe start 3, gotta catch up to BlameItOnTheHenne.

I remember enjoying AC2 the most, with a very close second being Brotherhood. If I had to rank them all so far -

    AC2
    Brotherhood
    Revelations
    AC3
    AC1

AC4? Time will tell. Just waiting on the $19.99 price tag to get started.

I'm getting there! lol I've wanted to visit Hagia Sophia in real life so it was cool having a mission to explore it and the armor looks nice. Of course Unity will have to take a backseat if it's released around Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Haven't beaten much of anything lately. No time, nothing really to play that has a finite ending. I have some 3DS backlog to get to, though I'm really just waiting until Watch Dogs comes out. Going to beat the hell out of that.

The Hagia Sophia was a nice send-off to the Assassin dungeon concept. I wish they'd come back, but if they never do, boy, what a way to go out. I suffered height dizziness playing that damn level.

I fell near the end and instinctively tried saving myself and caught a zip line, then I had much more to do than if I had died and just restarted at the checkpoint. I enjoyed that dungeon, along with the Galata Tower and Forum of the Ox ones. Seems like if they do want to bring dungeons back that they will have a good opportunity with Unity.

I finished AC 3 a few days ago and started on Liberation HD. Ended up doing more extra stuff in 3 than I normally do. I really enjoyed the combat and animations in 3, a more rural setting was nice, enjoyed the time period, ship battles were fun, and best looking default outfit to date. There were parts of the story I really enjoyed, and parts where I felt they could have done a better job. I liked Connor and it's good his personality isn't the same as the other assassins but there were some cutscenes, particularly in the Homestead, where the voice acting for him just seemed really bad. Speaking of the series in general, I have to confess one of my favorite things is changing the color of my armor. I always run to the tailor and buy new colors before any weapons or anything else. I'm a little too excited that there a lot of dress colors to choose from in Liberation... Anyway, getting close to having a good excuse to buy a PS4.

Noah Watts, Connor's voice actor, played him as a strong/silent badass type. I think people have generally misinterpreted that.

I understood that and enjoyed his personality for the most part, it wasn't the way Connor was played that bothered me. What I had issues with was it seemed in some of the side quests that the voice acting was poor, less stoic and more lifeless, while the quality was much better during the actual story cutscenes. There may not be a difference and might just be me being weird but it was enough to stand out while I was playing. A minor complaint for sure, just took me out of the game world a little.

I just finished up my second run through Infamous Second Son on the PS4 (playing the evil path this time). I would give this game a 8/10, with good replay value for the second time through. In many ways it reminded me of playing Crackdown on the 360. You end up running around town and blowing up stuff. Things just look a lot better on the PS4.

That said, I have yet to see anything for these next gen consoles that I feel I have not already experienced on the last gen consoles -just better graphics. Looking forward to what E3 brings and what Sony might do with their virtual reality headset. That would certainly be a new gaming experience for me.

Started LOTR: War in the North again, and finished it this time. Underwhelming game, but I wanted to finish the story. Next in line is the HD Reboot of FF X/X2. My wife bugged me for something to get me for Father's Day, so I chose that. It will probably be my last game on the PS3, which is a little funny since FF12 was my last game on the PS2. I haven't played X since it came out, so there will probably be things that I've forgotten in my old age that seem new to me again, lol. I'm also really burning for a turn based RPG that I can spend the rest of the summer on before I upgrade to the PS4 in September.

I bought FF X and my PS2 together many years ago and really enjoyed it (my cat is named Yuna if that helps). I received the HD remake as a present but just haven't played it yet. I remember it pretty good but like you, I'm sure there's a lot I forgot. Any reason to get the PS4 in September?

My main reason for the PS4 is Dragon Age 3 in October, but since I'll be getting Madden anyways, why not get it for the better system?

My plan was to get a PS4 when the new Madden comes out this year and kinda like you but with a different game, figured I should go ahead and get a PS4 for Assassin's Creed 4, why not play it on the better system? Haven't done that yet because I'm not ready for AC 4. I really, really like Dragon Age and would definitely be a system seller if I didn't play it on PC (just hope my laptop can handle it, may need to upgrade). I even read the three DA books which I thought were pretty good. It's going be nice to see a new engine in DA 3, the little bit I've watched has me pretty excited.

I'll definately get AC Unity when it comes out on the PS4 too. Its not dated yet, as far as I can tell, but they've been bringing a game out every autumn for a while now, so my guess is that it will too. I'll have my hands full with DA3 and Madden though, so I'll likely get it for the Holidays.

I can see why. It's very unlike the other ones in the sense that [SPOILERS!!!!] you don't start as an assassin. Edward is pretty much "**** this, I wanna get paid, I am a mother****ing pirate and I dont give a damn about much else" attitude wise, which is very anti previous AC games. You spend the whole game telling Assasins to go kick rocks, basically, and I like that. In the end with the dramatic story line I am all alone, everybody dies blah blah blah, was pretty basic but cool at the same time. I enjoyed it.

Edward was a fine pirate, but he has sh!t-for-brains after falling for "James" disguise. Anyone could tell that James was a she the very first second he/she is introduced in the game.

Thanks to Hearthstone and working on my glorious tan I have been absent from this thread since May, but no longer! Finished Diablo 3 a few days ago and Reaper of the Souls yesterday. Haven't really played many games in the Diablo mold but enjoyed it, will look at some of the endgame stuff now and also mess around with other classes. Mainly got it because I hadn't ever played Diablo and was curious, as well as some friends are currently playing it. Now that I've caught up to them I'm looking forward to playing multiplayer.
