what a load of crap. It's his house. if he wants to support his murderous friend by not taking down his jersey, then it's his business. calling him a scumbag for this is just idiotic as hell. If he supports Aaron in the public media, then he deserves admonishment.

Yeah.....cut him based on the decor of his home. Which was likely up before the situ even happened.

Yep. His immaturity is frustrating and do fear he could cost us one day with more than just a dumb tweet, but he's a good player at our biggest weakness.

Honestly I don't think Miko thought twice about what was in the background of the photo. She saw the cute little kid taking their first baby steps and went all maternal.

Could be that Pouncey is having a hard time coming to grips with the idea that the Hernandez he knows is a murdered.

Totally agree on the first part but I'm curious how you call plays if your encrusted in platinum and diamonds?

Are my eyes playing tricks on me? I could have sworn Muck's post said coaches when I quoted it.

I haven't read through the thread, but to me, it seems entirely possible that Pouncey isn't in that room often and put that jersey up so long ago that he doesn't even pay it a second thought. It's entirely possible that the thought didn't cross his mind to remove it because he doesn't view it nearly the same significance as some here do (perhaps it was just a gift from a friend). It's also possible that he believes his friend to be innocent while not engaging in any sort of hero worship.

Granted it is possible that the opposite is true, but given what I know about this item or Pouncey's current feelings (very little), I'm certainly not going to pass judgement.

Real friends typically stand by you and pray for you no matter what. None of us are perfect. But your friends shouldn't be equal to political allegiances that you bail on at the drop of the hat because of how it might look to save face. Your real friends grow up with you and go through things with you. I don't know the extent of their relationship like that but apparently they are good friends. If Pouncey chooses to support him then thats between them. Supporting his friend does not equal supporting murder.

Killing three people is not the drop of a hat nor political allegiances... Pass it off any way you want to supporting murderers friend or not is disgusting... Stop trying to act hood and admit it.

Mike Pouncey was in the Wells Report, which was bigger national news for a longer period of time.

Act hood? Is that where you think that is coming from? I'm a 30 year old military brat who lives in the richest state in the union. I'm going to need you to adjust your stereotype just a smidge. Hood?! That's golden.

Listen you have to let the process play out....and I am not defending AH but I am very much on the side of due process and convicting the right person....

Can you say 100% RIGHT NOW that AH killed 3 people? You can't nobody can.....

If you dont stand by your words dont post them. Novel concept. If you dont want to sound like you are acting hood... dont. All i can judge you by on a forum are our words. This is hardly the first thread on AH where you defend him and act like not defending him ( his friends) is wrong.

Unbelievable the guy kills 3 people and you pass it off as people not being perfect!

Some of y'all are ****ed up. Sorry.

If my dude kills a guy in a fight accidentally? I can forgive.

But if my dude has 'assassinated' multiple people (and that's the word in the police documents, he ambushed people)... being his friend reflects on you.

    Pouncey is a thug.

    This is a problem, folks.

This team just can't escape stupid ****.

Where is Jimmy James while some of you think that because the police say so, and because of what you've heard on the media, and because the Patriots suspended and released him, Hernandez ambushed three people? Is this America, or what?
Have any of you guys who have already adjudicated Hernandez guilty ever served on a criminal jury? I certainly hope not.

Why, Lifer? Because blacks have associated? That's a First Amendment-guaranteed freedom. It's why it's legal for all-white private clubs not to accept black members.

You do realize that AH has not be found guilty yet and the prosecution has released very little of their case against him. So why is it such a reach to understand that someone who was close with AH could be more skeptical of the charges?

Jimmy has done the same public conviction when the person has taken an opposite point of view from him. I've called him out on doing so when he's a public defender (it's confounding to me) so don't go calling for him just yet.

Brookyln Had Dudes Scared To Rep Their Borough Uncle Murda Imma Rep 2 Da Fullest
Like Saionin Da Club I Throw Bullets! Bullets!

    Anyhow:

My problem with Pouncey is this:

I don't want a banger on the team. Right? For obvious reasons.
But the part that's more troubling to me is the dude is a wannabe.
He's the dude that hangs out with bad dudes so he thinks he's a bad dude.

    What is that?

poser. Which is worse than being a banger. Because if **** gets real on the field, at least a legit banger can handle himself. this dude? im skeptical.

He's a follower. That was clear from the wells report.
A follower... who chooses to follow dumb people.

i'd rather not have that type of personality on my team.

If the club is truly private (meaning no public funding or use of public facilities, is owned and controlled by its members, and does not derive significant income from business so that it can't be considered a "place of public acommodation" under civil rights laws and ordinances), it's truly private and can discriminate on the basis of race, gender, creed or national origin because it's deemed an extension of the members' homes, and feedom of association and rights of privacy apply. The more selective the club is, the more likely it will be deemed tuly private.
