If I see someone write that on these boards I'm gonna kill someone. If we learned anything from Jake Long, that phrase is meaningless.
It was always weird that the statement was applied to OLine, like you don't want, or can't have other positions be "plug and play" or whatever.
What wife would approve of OL meetings at a stripclub ? He made a smart move for his family by getting away from the dysfunctinal culture that was our OL . He is still playing and he will complete those ten years albeit for another team.
But... Sparano and company decided to play him even though he was hurt and probably shouldnt have been on the field? But... Our OL was a complete **** show disaster that even Jake wanted no part of. He's going to be a starting LT for 10 years, no doubt. It just wont be here for various reasons, not just the two obvious ones. That being said, we shouldnt say that about anyone really, because its the draft, you never, ever know.
