I don't mind jumping teams that haven't selected and past their due. Like for my 6th rounder I made a blunder by forgetting to check back before I went to bed but when I got on literally no one selected after committee selected for me. Could easily take the skip approach for the later rounds and just use the committee for the first few round.
If you're next up on the list why not? The team that got skipped allotted time expired. No point waiting around.
