With the 126th pick of the 2014 GML draft, the Buffalo Bills go north of the border (ironically) and select:

    Tackle from McGill, Laurent Duvernay-Tardif

Look at how he is light on his feet... really incredible:

We expect him to compete at right tackle but realize he'll need some time to truly flourish in the NFL.

    Cincinnati, Ohio
With the (First comp pick of the fourth round, 4C01) overall selection, the Cincinnati Bengals select WR Devin Street of Pittsburgh.

The Bengals dip into their enemy's own back yard and grab the talented Devin Street to add to their already potent receiving corps. The University of Pittsburgh's all-time leader in catches with 202, Street stands 6'3" 198lbs and shows good toughness and ability to high point the ball and go up and get it. He doesn't have great breakaway or straight line speed, but with Cincinnati's offense it's not needed. With the ability to play on the perimeter and in the slot, the Bengals can line him up opposite A.J. Green to have two tall targets out wide, or run him in the middle. With guys like Mohamed Sanu and Marvin Jones developing nicely, Street is afforded a year or two to develop a role and compete with Andrew Hawkins for snaps in the slot.

Street received a 4th round grade from the Bengals and from a lot of the draft sites out there, so we feel that getting him at the end of the round is a nice value pick for us.

With their 4th Round Compensatory selection in the 2014 NFL Draft, the New York Giants select:

    Colt Lyerla, TE, Oregon – 6’4, 242Lbs

Lyerla is a Physical marvel with excellent athleticism, good hand-eye coordination, shows toughness after the catch, adjusts easily to the ball in the air, recorded a 39-inch vertical jump to pace all tight ends at the combine. He possesses impressive straight-line speed, as well as the agility and balance to operate in space, attacks defenders as a run-blocker, getting an explosive initial pop on his opponent and extending his arms and keeping his legs churning to sustain blocks. Capable of lining up at Tight End, Wide Receiver and has experience taking the ball out of the backfield. Athletic seam threats like Lyerla have never been more popular than now and he is clearly a first round talent with comparison to Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots (as per CBS Sports.com). The Giants will look for Lyerla to become the #1 receiving threat at TE and will look to get the ball in the big playmakers hands weather it being lining out outside, in the slot or coming out of the backfield.

    [IMG][IMG]

Lyerla could, and should, add weight for the NFL to help improve his blocking ability. He has a lot of upside and is just scratching the surface. Some draft analysts have ranked Lyerla ahead of Seferian-Jenkins. There is no doubt that Lyerla is a dangerous receiver who presents a lot of mismatches. He has early-round potential, who would benefit tremendously from a coach willing to serve as a strong father figure and an established, veteran locker room with a positional leader able to take him under his wing.

Lyerla is a bit of an off-field risk for the Giants but comes with great on-field potential if they are able to get his off-filed issues under control. Tom Coughlin will look to work closely with Lyerla and will rely on his veteran locker room to help mold this young talent into a true professional athlete. The Giants feel they have gained another big body target for Eli and this revamped offense.

….Rumor has it that Lyerla could be rooming with Giants Hall of Fame and Special coach “Lawrence Taylor” …tricks of the trade will be shared im sure!

With pick # 134 the Tennessee Titans Select

ILB - Lamin Barrow - LSU

An odd choice after going with Kirksey last pick, but the Titans are dedicated to creating a hybrid 4-3/3-4 defense. Barrow can kick inside and play the ILB position while getting snaps on special teams and hopefully working his way into the 4-3 rotation.

    DE/OLB Michael Sam
    http://www.sbnation.com/2014/4/18/5...-michael-sam-pass-rusher-position-projections

-Tremendously productive. Had 11.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss on the year.

    - Great burst off the line of scrimmage. Best part of his game.

    - Above average change of direction.

    - Bend is inconsistent, but he's flashed greatness in that aspect.

    - Tremendous motor and hustle.

54 times in five games Sam attempted a corner rush in a one-on-one matchup with an offensive tackle.

28 times in five games Sam beat that offensive tackle around the corner.

With the 142nd pick and after speaking with coach Al Golden - the Green Bay Packers have decided to select from the "U"

    OL - Seantrel Henderson

6'7" 331 lbs projects as a RT or Guard

STRENGTHS Looks every bit the part with a rare-sized body that will make offensive line coaches drool -- broad-shouldered, big-boned, well-proportioned and thickly built. Athletic bender. Light-footed kick slide. Is a day trip to get around -- long arms aid recovery and enable him to push rushers wide of the pocket. Thwarts rushers with a heavy punch and sturdy base. Locks on and controls. Walls off and seals. Widens the hole. Gets to the second level with ease. Passes off stunts.
WEAKNESSES Weight-room strength is not special given his size. Needs to strengthen his core -- affects body control, contact balance, sustain and finish. Spends too much time on the ground. Technique lapses -- needs to play with more consistent bend and leverage. Gets in trouble when his feet stall and is slow to shift his weight. Labors to execute reach blocks and is stressed by quick inside moves -- occasionally lets defenders cross his face. Struggles adjusting to moving targets in space. Should be more powerful than he is. Uneven performance. Underachiever traits. Suspect maturity, dependability and decision-making -- is easily led astray and was suspended multiple times.
BOTTOM LINE Massive, strong-bodied, long-armed specimen with the physical gifts to be a dominant NFL right tackle in a power or slide-protection blocking scheme. However, he failed to live up to expectations in Coral Cables thanks to a tumultuous career marred by tragedy, suspensions, injuries and benchings. High-risk, high-reward, high-maintenance wild card who must convince decision-makers he’s worth gambling on. Interview process will go a long way in determining his trustworthiness.

The Cardinals select with 148, Larry Webster, DE/TE, Bloomsburg

An athletic project type of player, Larry initially played basketball for Bloomsburg (DII) before making the switch to football. I like his size (6'6/252), speed (4.58/ second fastest 40 time for a DL player at the combine), as well as his ability to get up (36.5" vertical). I really am unsure that I would use him as a DE, I think he might project as a TE in the mold of a basketball player.

I've seen draft profiles compare him to both Julius Thomas and Jordan Cameron, in that all were basketball player types who lack a ton of football experience before being drafted. I like the comparison.

With the 152nd overall selection, the Cincinnati Bengals select CB Chris Davis of Auburn.

The Bengals continue to build depth in their secondary with the recently minted Auburn legend Chris Davis. Possessing a solid frame at 5'10" 202lbs, Davis will get a shot to see the field right away as a kick and punt returner for the Bengals. He will also see some snaps in the slot as Cincinnati's top 3 CBs - Hall, Fuller, and Kirkpatrick, are primarily perimeter players. Davis isn't the fastest or most fluid-athlete, but he possesses that quick-twitch, Brent Grimes-esque ability to break and jump routes. Rated by NFL Draft Scout as a 4th round pick and their 122nd overall prospect, Cincinnati feels like it got a steal here. With some other players in front of him, at the very least, Davis is quality depth and should be a decent kick returner right off the bat.
