Any player taken could be an all pro. I am just giving my opinion tho. Like I said we all have different grades and different opinions.

I think there are certain things he has that a lot of other QB's dont have. Stature wise he looks the part and theres a strong arm with a lot of poise there. Hes mentally tough and has a lot of leadership characteristics imo. He stands in the pocket and takes the hit to try and make the throw which is something that a lot of qbs wont do. The ball placement and accuracy is streaky because of his really high, directly over the top release point. Footwork could certainly be better but good coaching can fix those things. Hes a project but theres a lot to like here imo. He has to adjust to progressions and improve his field awareness. Gain a better feel for whats going on around him. His offense at Va Tech didnt do him any favors as its not any kind of pro style offense which has always been a major beef Ive had with those types offenses. I do think in 2-3 years he could be a possible starter or a really strong backup.

First off, thanks Paul for submitting my pick. I totally lost track of time and knew I was gonna be out of the house; I didn't want a committee pick.

As for Logan Thomas, yes, I know he is definitely a work in progress. What I like about him is his size, arm strength, experience (I believe he played in around 40 games for VT), and upside. I have heard some lofty comparisons to Cam Newton; Thomas does have similar tools to Newton, and the two QB's both share a lot of the same pre-draft criticism. I like the pick for the Cardinals because Logan Thomas will have time to be mentored by Carson Palmer. At this stage in the draft, I think Logan Thomas offers value for what he is, which is a QB with question marks, but with promising upside. Also, if he bombs out at QB, the Cards can work him as a TE (I believe some teams are planning this for him in this year's real draft).

which ones? The Washington/Carolina picks from yesterday ended up being their picks, not the committees. We've been making selections for KC in their best interests. Again, the standard committee picks tend to be, what's the word I'm looking for, substandard.... :shifty:

I hate not being in the eastern time zones. If I knew that we could have skipped picks, I would have picked much quicker.

Itchin' to use that pick you traded for? Glad I dealt it for a decent CB, Skeet just nabbed the guy I would have taken if he kept falling.

Sorry for not being here for my pick and not responding to PMs. This has been the busiest week of my life because of finals, moving out of my dorm, moving back home, interviewing for internships. Just crazy busy.

I am ok with the pick by committee because I was going for wr either way with that pick. I apologize for any inconvenience

305 thinks he pulled a fast one by trading in front of me at 125... little does he know I have no idea who I'm picking at 126... and that will likely be reflected in my pick. :shifty:

You should make a new rule that the committee is only allowed to award CFL players

So I'm not complaining at all but I'm kind of curious what made you guys go HB for me? I mean it was a position Id have drafted at some point but I didn't think it was too weak. Or was it just BPA?

Frank Gore still has stuff in the tank, Thomas isn't going to be bad behind a good line with our offensive weapons and Dion Lewis is my pet project. If he's healthy he can return kicks and be dynamic offensively IMO.
