Well once I was able to pick up Arthur Brown and Junior at LB that really opened up the possibility of double dipping at a spot. Just made the most sense to me to really amp my defense into something more scarier....even without Watt around.

This draft is definitely deeper. I'm seeing a good 8-9 guys who could have been end of first rounders last year. Hard to really go wrong over the next 7-10 picks.
Well I Went In Wanting Hageman. But Had Other Needs. Thought If I Could Get Nix Or Jerrnigan Id Be Happy. Still Couldn't Believe He Was On The Board, Had To look 3 Times To Make Sure I wasn't Overlooking It.
I thought about taking him to, but I already had Paul Soliai locked up and didn't feel the need to add another nose tackle this early in the draft.
This is kinda why I wish Miami really didn't need OL in this draft. There is a LOT of talent all over the place in the first 3 rounds. Even trading back to the 75th pick from 49 I still feel like I could have some mid 2nd round quality still appear at 75. I don't know. In a 4-3 Jernigan would look pretty solid next to Soliai. Especially with Kacy Rodgers working on him and the fact he'd only be facing single teams opposite big Paul.
Probably not at first but I think Kacy could whip him into one. 3 tech is probably where he thrives the most. He had to fight a lot of double teams....so with his quickness and rarely seeing doubles....he'd get there. Curious where Boik goes here.

After Nix and ASJ went I still Have players I want. It was definitely gonna be between Nix and a player still available who I will take if the team I'm waiting on doesn't reply back soon.
In a draft where everyone wants to trade back, I couldn't even move up a couple friggin' spots for ASJ dammit.

nope, cause it's just terrible to grab the 2 best interior pass rushers to fill out my huge nickel pass rush needs, especially when one probably wont make it to pick 11 in the real draft.... and then it was even worse to get a corner at 27 who'll probably go top 15.
Yeah I thought he reached the point where he represented good enough value to take and figured he wouldn't make it to 37.
With all the TE flying off the board, if anyone wants a TE Ertz is possibly still available, although my trade "demands" have changed.
