Man, as much as I hated this guy (mostly for kicking our Dolphins ***) during the 90s he has dealt with so much tragedy. Hope he can beat it again. Just pretend Cancer is a mid 90s Dolphins team and he'll do just fine!!!

Hated him with a passion up to the point I had to watch him bury his baby boy, my heart went out to him and it still does. You can beat this Jim.

Wife said the cancer is spreading. Really sad.

As much as I did not like what he did to Marino and the Dolphins, he was always a class act. Really sad to see with all his family has gone through and they have been absolutely class all the way.

Prayers for him and his family.

I went on a Bills board, it is pitiful.
They were talking about that their were even posts on the jets, and new england forums for him.
I didn't join, but it is sad.

It still amazes me his record against Marino... Think it's 15-8 regular season, 3-0 playoffs? That one lays squarely on Shula's shoulder's though - his drafts were horrific during the Marino era.
