    It's not completely illogical.

But I'm tired of throwing draft picks away. And I'm NOT in favor of trading Jason Taylor for a 1-year rental at QB.

You get old fast in this league. Favre looked great last year. But at 38 (39 before midseason), he sure could get 'old' in a hurry.

I agree, let's just take our lumps with who we have and move forward. Grandpa always said "Dance with who you brought."

Id love to see Favre here, but it just doesnt make sense. Sure the guy's a legend, and can be exciting to watch, and would be great to mentor our two young QB's, but He's way to old to be trading for him, we can bring in another "rental" in here to take over the QB job just to try and salvage a decent year. We've got to let our young guys go out there and play, and give this team an identity of its own. Theres absolutely no need to throw away draft picks, or JT to bring Favre down for one year.

He'd be here for a year with a new system and an entirely new set of teammates. One would think it would take him about that long to get in synch to be able to perform at the level he did in Green Bay. Pass.

Pass, please. The man should slip nicely into retirement, collect his yellow jacket, and enjoy retirement gracefully. Do not come here and give us false hope for 1 year at the cost of our future.

Isn't Greg Cote an amatuer comedian?

How can anyone take that guy seriously?

I remember reading an article about the head coach of the Packers, after Farve retired. The article was about how it is finally the coaches team over there now. Not yet, because apparently Brett is still in charge. :pointlol:

Never fear.Favre will not choose the Dolphins.:wink2:

1.We are a rebuilding team that wont challenge for at least three years

2.We will be running ball control offense and Favre is a mad bomber.

3.We dont have the receivers to make him look good.

4.He would look strange in a Panama hat and shorts. He belongs in the ice and sleet.:pointlol:

If I was Favre, I'd love to end my career on a 6-10 team.

The reason the media and especially Cote always come up with these stupid scenario's is because they think it will cause controversy and sell papers. Any sports journalist one who thinks this team should sign Farve is more interested in pushing a storyline. Even if Farve could bring a few more wins would it really help? No! It would delay an already desperately slow process of rebuilding another whole year or more. Who wants a few wins just to make the inevitable process of rebuilding take even longer. PLEASE SAY NO TO FARVE!!!!

PS I agree he wouldn't want to come here anyway, even if we wanted him.

And a rookie head coach, not to mention the Tuna hanging around the locker room and weight room at all hours. :pointlol:

I'd go to New Orleans if I were him, but Brees ain't going anywhere. I can see why his agent mentions Carolina...

We don't need Favre. We need a QB who knows the system (if it didn't change every friggin year) and to stay our QB for years to come.

    No more 1 year wonders!
