The difference I see is that from 2012-2013 Ryan had the luxury of one of the best WRs in football as far as getting deep. And he drastically dropped off?

Actually, his "dropoff" in deep accuracy was arguably related to that particular WR. When he threw deep to persons other than Mike Wallace, he threw a catchable ball on 13 of 28 attempts (46.4%). But throwing to Wallace, he completed only 6 of 36 deep passes (16.7%). Wallace dropped a few and also appeared to have not gone all out for a few more. As much as we talk about QB deep accuracy, the truth is that whether the pass is completed or not depends an awful lot on the receiver to maneuver himself to get to the ball.

Times when could sit in the pocket and not move due to defense, I didn't see more than three times in that video.

Numbers prove otherwise... Last season he completed 21% of passes over 25 yards. This put him in 31st place. Passes over 15 yards look like this: 2007- 17% 2008- Injured 2009- 19% 2010- 14% 2011- 18%
Maybe he went though a sophomore slump, maybe when you are sacked 58 times you may be a little worried about taking more than a 3 step drop. I was amazed the kid didn't walk and except for Pounce I don't think any of the others would start in the NFL
He has year 3 to prove himself. I'm only saying that if he stops improving next year and looks to be about the same you have to start thinking about if he is a long term solution at the position. Even if they think he is not, unless he turns into a total disaster I would still let him play out his 4th year and give him that chance to change peoples minds. Investing a high pick in a second QB is not a bad thing even if he turns out to be Moores replacement.
That's true, if RT develops that timid, happy feet drop back he will be ruined. It ruined Tim Couch it ruined David Carr we can't let that happen to our best shot at drafting a franchise QB since 84.
Seconded. The rollouts in 2014 were a blaring indicator, if nothing else was, that our o-line needed an overhaul.
Problem with the rollout is it pretty much takes away half the field, if your initial read isn't there you may be in a bad situation. Oddly enough, Henning LOVED rolling out the immobile Henne every chance he got that worked about aswell as the 5 wide with the QB under center (instead of shotgun) formation that we probably got sacked on more than half the time. I wasn't a fan of Sherman, but Henning was the worst I've seen in my life.
Henne had/has no legs...but Ryan is a bionic warrior when he wants to be. Need to make it a constant threat instead of the chaotic Tony Romo-esque plays that miraculously ended in TDs or yd conversions in 2013. Sure, having to throw on the run means you have less margin for error but it can effectively throw off the defense in right situation. We should use roll-outs from play action if possible, particularly in the red zone, we were good at that last year if I recall.
I think Lazor will maximize Ryan's abilities, Chip got all of the credit but he wasn't alone in building that offense.
..because they had a running game to keep the defense honest. Cutting off half the field AND the defense knows you aren't running is no bueno.
Not to mention they averaged 208 ypg passing (26 in NFL)and it doesn't take a Brain Surgeon too realize they won because of the Defense.
