I think its because maybe a dozen teams are active. Its really frustrating. Some free agents went way too cheap. Its a shame we couldn't get someone active for KC, so much potential there was lost.
The pittsburgh steelers would like to (finally) welcome bj raji. Raji was one of our first targets in free agency and one of the first players bid on and it took some persistence but we finally have our starting nose tackle. Bj is a solid player and all though not a great pass rusher he occupies 2 blockers allowing us to play a 1 gap zone blitz. At 7.25 million he wasn't cheap but he was a necessity and is one of the better nose tackles in the league
That's a good signing. And I think that's a pretty decent price considering what other positions are going for.
Seahawks are pleased to bring in Knowshon Moreno to provide solid depth behind starter Christine Michael, also known in Seattle as "Marshawn Lynch with speed". They should enjoy good success behind the newly-created smash mouth Oline that's adept at physically blowing defenders off the ball with: LT Jason Peters 6'4 330.. LG Chad Rinehart 6'5 321.. C Jonathan Goodwin 6'3 318.. RG Geoff Schwartz 6'6 340.. RT Michael Bowie 6'5 335
Seattle would also like to welcome Anquan Boldin. He joins TE Julius Thomas to give Russell Wilson an upgraded pass catching group that defenses will now have to be more concerned about, in turn creating better opportunities for both the ground game and the movable chess piece supreme, Percy Harvin. Boldin provides a physical presence at WR that Seattle was previously missing.
As if. I'm at 36 I think with another dozen to go before the draft. Then I'll grab a few undrafted rookies to round it out. I should be at 53 by time my roster is final.
Backing off from Jimmy Graham allowed Seattle to sign Boldin [sorry, PSG], take on Tramon Williams' salary in order to trade for 1.11, and trade for Jason Peters to address the left tackle hole which opens the #11 pick to use elsewhere. I think for Seattle's sake it worked out for the best.
Pittsburgh also welcomes WR Andre Caldwell for the league minimum 495,000. Caldwell will provide valuable depth and a professional work ethic.
wifey had her gall bladder taken out today, gall stones.. so I'm a little behind in where I wanted to be with this two kids, wife not home to do the marvelous job she normally does. barely slept.. normal stuff. hey, I'm sure it could have been a lot worse
RL more important brosef. Just going to need you to hand over GM duties and control over the Chiefs, Eric Berry is now a Jet.
ah the Chiefs.. I'm going to merge them with the Bills... going to call them the Chills.. or is that the Biefs? Either one is pretty snazzy. Gonna merge and run the newly formed club.
Jets want to welcome more $495K players to the team. No one wants to trade any more I think you know the answer to that.
Heh. I wanted to make a hard run at Justin Houston, but at this point I'm think I'm just content to hoard my draft picks.
Not sure. There's only a handful of people who can go in and edit names on posts and they are all staff or former staff. If someone did it there is going to be a problem.
Yea man, that's messed up. I came to update our team page with our most recent signings, but they're gone. Good thing Skeet kept track of each remaining one (or was supposedly doing so), so I can ask him.
Stop cluttering the position threads. If it was a forum glitch, stuff happens. We can fix it. If some one deleted it as a prank, expect a vacation.
Is there a chance it happened during the time change? I say that b/c I know the list was there as late as 1:41 AM when I made a bid.
Well, looks like I won't have to catch up on 8 pages of bids just yet. PMs will have to wait for after lunch though!
I'm personally not a fan of the bids being cleared out after the updates. I like being able to see the bid histories.
