I actually do want Rahim Moore though. That isn't BS. Earl Wolff can start while he gets back to 100%.
LOL, careful with that game buddy. Some people will stick you with that player so you better be prepared to accept that player at said price. Ex. Levi Brown
Definitely. Though there is a limit to how far ill go. Had Brown went a penny more I'd have dropped out.
Yeah Ive done that on Dahl and a few others already. I have a number Ill go to for a specific player. Once it hits that number....enjoy.
Rahim Moore is going to cash a nice bonus check...or would he prefer it in cash? I never intended him to go that high, I'm done on him I can't go higher and maintain my FA plan.
I'm sorry. Can we still be friends buddy? I didn't steal him. He was right there for the bidding. Bid more lol.
Hah at the Ike Taylor bid. I like it when someone is all "Enough of these games......lets get real". As Rahim's GML agent I'll take my 3% in cold hard cash ;p
Ike Taylor is a nickel cb at this point. I can't believe that just went to 4m. Fwiw I was done after it hit 2.75.
Oh he is. I just cut him to use his cap other places. I'm just saying someone could have had him for sure with a late round pick and he was at 2.8
PM box was clear for the first week or so. Was only full when I already cut Harris. I cut Harris on the eve of the cut FA before it was moved. Not 1 person inquired about him.
He's been good in his career. He's going to be 33 and a half years old when the season starts though. There is really only one direction his play can go and even if not this season its going there soon.
Rahim Pay Moore... and perhaps a secondary meaning to getting BK'd... having your mail box full and missing out on exceptional trade offers on a starting player... then cutting said player because his contract was too high, only to see him get bid more than his "high" contract...:giggle:
Should have offered him around. That's how I got rid of woodley at 13.5, Heath Miller at 9.5, Polamalu at 10.4, and Timmons at 11+ while still getting good pieces in each of those deals. I gave up good players much like Harris but got a good return as well.
Yeah but typically I get people to inquire about players without having to go door to door. The only players people inquired about where Mo, Richardson, Harrison, Ellis, Davis. Jets have been by far the hardest team to trade with out of all the years doing this. edit-Jets welcome back Mark Sanchez at the fraction of his original salary.
Sometimes you have to get your hands dirty and go door to door buddy. Its not pretty but it can be done. Steelers welcome home James Harrison at 4M. We think he has enough left in the tank for another quality year.
I didn't find it too bad, but it did involve knocking on some doors. It's just how you approach running each team 2013 I kept Harris and his $13,000,000 contract 2012: Jets trade: LB David Harris $9,900,00 Round 7 (#209) Eagles trade: CB Asante Samuel $8,400,000 Round 6 (#185)
I've literally been to every door. He's a solid NT or DT with a not outrageous salary and I can't even get a mid to late 4th or an offer period.
I was so close to bidding on him... Missed by 5 minutes haha. If he plays like he did this year, it is worth the 4M IMO
I agree. Hes got plenty left in his tank. He went from a 3-4 for the last decade to a 4-3 which isnt good for a guy who was never the fastest.
Well I inquired about a couple Jets players but all I really got was "Well.....I don't know if I really want to trade em....I need to figure out their market and get back to you"....and never get back to me ;p I make trades fast. I don't have time for wishy washy ;p
