Nuts. The guy knocked his girlfriend out and its not a big deal. Have to wonder how his girlfriend's family thinks about it. We have some guys playing jokes on each other and cracking sick jokes and we are looking at getting multiple suspensions and possibly losing draft picks.....nuts.

The Pats showed how to do things right. They were in an easier spot, we had to deal with the league and the Players Association, we couldn't simply cut Martin and Incognito like the Pats did with Hernandez. However, they've never let the media create a narrative and spin it out of control. No one refers to Hernandez as New England Patriot Hernandez, he's referred to as 'Former NFL Player' Hernanadez. Big difference. I do think that they are getting a free pass on the facts though, there were apparently a ton of red flags about Hernandez all the way from his days at Florida so they did deserver worse than what they have received.

It just shows you though that having a owner that is tight with the Commissioner like Kraft is, having a Head Coach with credibility goes a long way. The Pats wouldn't have had anything close to this nonsense happen to them if they had the same issue. They more than likely would have cut Incognito and fired some staff and had Martin come back and gotten rid of people in the offseason, we however let the league take control and now we are a laughing stock organization with a lame duck Head Coach.

 

Instead they have murderers and coaches who cheat and have sex with other guys wife.

we can say Shula this, Landry that or even Wanny... but the fact is they never had to deal with what a coach has to deal with today. they were able to control their environment much much easier than today. there were no cell phones with internet access and still/movie cameras with high rez. no twitter, no instant access media on the internet. no blogs and social media to deal with. you can't guarantee any of the greats would far as well in this technological environment. no way.
