LOL! Im pretty stacked at DT with Casey, Lee Hill and Martin who I like a ton, and I dint have much faith in Wilson who barely saw the field. It would be like us trading Will Davis IMO.
Wilson was a better prospect than Davis in the 2013 NFL Draft IMO. I understand your logic if you look at it as "both didn't play too much in 2013 and were 3rd round picks so they're equal" but I'd take Wilson over Davis without question.
Oh I would too, I'm just saying I have relatively the samebfaith in both ever being a capable starting corner. Wreh may have more potential but I'm not sold on him.
Personally I like Wilson more as a prospect and the fact he already has been working as a slot corner helps too. He played the slot the last three games for Titans and played really well I thought.
I really wanted to recoup his original draft value but noone would bite. More or less the same for Klug, best offer anyone wanted was a 5th. Bosher is OBVIOUSLY the cornerstonebof the trade though.
You never cave, its a good thing I'm the opposite, ill overpay if I have to for the benefit of my final roster lookinh how I want.
Trades really slowing down. Need to get that bottom third more active. I'm just glad I got my deal with FFG done before Alex's..........or she would have asked for Case AND my kicker to!
I'm obviously building a Canes heavy team. AJ, Gunn, Harris, Horn, Bosher Need to ask lmeister about Streeter
Is it sad I pretty much have a preliminary FA and draft plan already laid out? Half my monitor screen (and by monitor screen I mean 55") is of various notes.
No its needed, you have so many picks. I'm limited so I can play it a bit more by feel at this point. I have a rough plan for FA but honestly the tags can change it fast so I'm not going too deep.
I'll be right back to this conversation.....................but I need to finish reading about Miko Grimes talking about how J.Mart has a vagina. She is going to TOWN. Edit for the best bits: http://www.thephins.com/forums/show...evin-O-Neill&p=2294832&viewfull=1#post2294832
So I've got pick #14 and am thinking about moving up to the 6-10 range. Who wants to trade back? Ditto for pick #64. Would like to push it into the top 40 or higher.
Is there an updated draft order somewhere. From what I've seen a good amount of picks have been changed with the trades.
I have mine listed on my team page. Some others do to. But yah when looking for a specific pick you sometimes got to follow a trail.
AJ = Fitz Nelson > Brown Smith = Wright but I'd rather have the explosion of Smith. Plus Delanie Walker and another threat soon to come. Just my personal opinion but its close.
I maintain Flacco is the QB who has had steady success snd led him team to a Superbowl. Not the guy we saw last season.
No ill mainly line up in a three wide one TE set and destroy nickel defenses with Frank Gore Once I add my second TE you'll see the birth of an unstoppable 3WR 2TE set =P
Brown lead the league in receptions. Hes absolutely better then Jordy Nelson. Nelsons not even the best WR on his own team in real life. IMO. And you left out my break out candidate for next year...Markus Wheaton.
No I have running backs too (Matthews and Bell). There will be TE's added. And my OL will not look the same by the time we are done. I have cheap studs like Beachum, Foster and Fluker. I have plans. To be honest my goal was freeing up as much cap as possible while acquiring players at positions that I knew would be overvalued in FA/Draft...i.e. skill positions.
Nelson had only 100 less yards on 25 less catches, 2 yards more per reception and the same number of touchdowns without Rodgers and has had more career success. Its close and personal preference but ill take Jordy all day every day.
Nelson also had the benefit of Jones, Boykin, Cobb (for the time he was around), Finley (again for the time he was around) where as Brown really didnt receive much help. Like you said theyre both good but the Steelers also have a run heavy, more conservative offense where as GB opens it up a bit more and their system allows wr's to just basically be plugged in. Brown had the responsibility of being the underneath and deep target while Wallace left, Miller was hurt etc. Brown averaged a full yard more of RAC according to PFF (6YAC to 5YAC), caused more missed tackles (16 to 12) and had 2 less interceptions on passes thrown his way (5 to 3). In terms of their passing grades they graded out 1 and 2 (just on the passing stat which for WR's is the one that most matters) but Brown won by a couple of points. Also Brown is younger and has as many 1000 yard seasons as Jordy. Nelson: http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/11270/jordy-nelson Brown: http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/13934/antonio-brown
Fair enough. Like I said its really close and basically what you said confirms that. I will say that everyone else in GB saw a massove dip in production with Aaron gone but Jordy didn't at all. Jordy would have more 1000 yard seasons if he didn't have slight injuries in the past as well. If we played I'm pretty sure we might set a record for points in a game combined so its not a knock on either of us. We have cores with different strengths for sure.
Lions add Wayne to go with Megatron. Interesting. Titans add Gates to be a second TE in a dynamic passing offense. Gates is aging but still presents matchup problems. Especially in 2 WR 2TE sets in this offense where he will not be a main focus for the defense.
Crabtree, Wallace, two posters from the Phins POFO forum = better than the rest. Sprinkle in some Jordab Cameron. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
