    Sorry if already posted but:

I figured as popular as this game is here that some people may want to know about the DLC (the article details each one).

Still waiting for the zombie dlc to be released. I hope it's before 'COD: Black Ops' because I hear it will have zombies as well.

I picked up the "Undead Nightmare" DLC and I've played through probably about 10% to 20% of the missions thus far. This is some tough DLC. You get the weapons you get, which includes (extremely) limited ammunition. And you're facing hordes of zombies. I like the premise of a "Zombie Western" game - and it's a lot of fun, but like I said, you'll probably die a few times, at least until you get more weapons to use.

If you're a fan of zombie games, and you enjoyed the original game, this one is a no brainer, even at the relatively steep price point.

Played through most of it. I kinda gave up on it once
Marston crawled up through the ground.
Wasnt really sure what to do after that, as I had no more things to complete in the Journal. I found the DLC to be fun for a few nights, but it got real, real repetitive playing through the DLC.

I can't believe this thread is 14 pages long and nobody complained about all the damn horse riding in this game. I like the game, but I hate the amount of time spent riding a horse. Also, for ADD folks like myself, finishing this game will be damn near impossible.

I used the Camp - Fast Travel for most of my long trips. Some mission would not allow this, so that sucked, but overall I did not mind the horse riding.

^this. If you arent aware of "Camp site - Fast Travel" or "Carriage/StageCoach ride - Fast Travel" then it would take longer and lose some interest (Aside from randomly firing at full gallop at animals, birds, or people on occasion.

But fast travel makes it very enjoyable.

I've been using fast travel. But still very annoyed with all the random crap that pops up while I'm trying to get something else done. I'm one of those obsessive compulsive gamers that feels like I have to complete any kind of tiny little side mission in a game. This makes Red Dead Redemption hard for me sometimes. I'm trying to tune a lot of the crap out and just finish the game and enjoy it. But Rock Star needs to tone it back on some of the less entertaining distractions in the game. Like the Pike's Basin side mission starting over and over and over again every time you ride near it. Some of it reminds me of the cell phone calls from your friends in GTAIV. If you don't drop what you're doing and hang out with them, they get pissy at you. One of the worst, most pointless aspects of a video game I can remember.

Overall I agree with you that it's a good game. But some of it makes me absolutely mental. I swear, If I get showered with lead from another whore faking a broken down horse carriage I'll stick this game in my garbage disposal.

    It's a great game right?

Not even joking when I say I wait for games to season and age before getting them. Not only is the price down by the time but there's no chance of a surprise dud.

    Definitely, I loved it.

I think part of my problem is one I got my PS3 in 2011. I also spent a lot of time playing MMOs and then after that went to school and both of those times I didn't play many console games. I'm also just slow about getting games. I'll talk about games I want to play one day and my friend ends up getting those as my Christmas/birthday present and that's the push to start to playing them. That's how I finished Uncharted about a year ago and RDR now. The price is definitely a bonus though and by the time I get most of these games there's a version with all the DLC added too. The next Uncharted and Dragon Age I hope to get on release though.
