I do believe Tannehill problem was play calling. He wasn't trusted really but I do think both those guys gets us into postseason play. I still have high hopes for Tannehill, getting another playmaking WR would go a long way.
We need three things on offense: An OL. A TE who has height...MAYBE Sims can be a red zone guy. A WR who has height/athleticism. Theyre average height but below average athleticism. Theyre fast and decent enough route runners but they cannot go up and make plays on the ball besides reshad matthews
Well maybe... But I saw Ryan step up in the pocket and unleash some horrifically inaccurate balls to Mike Wallace that should've been big plays for TDs, it happened too often. That singular situation has nothing to do with anything besides being an inaccurate passer.
True Wallace probably would have had a few more TD if the ball was money but Tannehill has everything you look for in a franchise QB lets just hope with Ireland gone and an actual OC he can develop into one.
jeez... I should have left the trade thread closed for some of you I think Jason LaCanGlazer is going to have to make an extended appearance this weekend to review some of this...
It worked out for the both of us. I upgraded the linebacker corps and cleared some cap. He got a great safety and a solid d-lineman.... and Ellerbe.
I don't think so. Odrick is a solid player, Jones had a down year but he is still on the verge of a top 10 safety. I think Boik comes out slightly ahead of this trade. If you somehow got a 2nd or a 3rd I think it would be a pretty fair trade. JMO.
I really really like Tulloch. So it really depends on your opinion of him. Plus it fit positions of need. Todd nearly had it. He just tried to crush me with too much cap in the back end of the deal, thought I was looking for more (actually was looking for less...just a better fit) and he Todd'ed it in his response so ;p And don't blame my deal for any failure to move your guys folks. We all know one deal does NOT set a standard around here. It always depends on trade partners.
Plus like I said I really dig Tulloch whose criminally underrated. Could I have pushed it for more. Yes I could have. But I also have a happy trade partner and there's value in that in future trades to come.
I'm not necessarily saying you lost the deal, it's just usually when you trade a star player you get some type of star back in return. You got a lot of solid pieces that help fill out your roster.
Damn. That's a lot of compensation for 2 very very good players. Well done by both sides. I do believe we have a trade of the year candidate
I'm happy with it. I just told him that typing out the trade made me fully realize just how much I was giving up. But I knew I'd have to give up a big package to get those two. Full disclosure, Cam was always my #1 target. That's part of the reason I hired his college coach in Malzahn, and his QB coach (Dorsey) to be my OC. Then Keuchly got brought up and I decided to do what it takes to get him as well.
If you think RGIII is a franchise QB. Carolina wins. If you think RGIII will never be s great QB, Cleveland wins.
