I think he actually did ok on the deal but then again Im not a big Stafford fan. I actually like Bradford more if he could stay healthy. Stafford to me is Tony Romo part 2 but with less talent and a real knack for throwing up 3int games.
I do. I would take Tannehill 10x out of 10 over those guys. Hes got more physical tools and hes not got a lot of help. Hes got a mechanical flaw that will straighten up his deep accuracy issue. Once we get a real QB coach you will see how good he is. Hes also been saddled with the same garbage *** OC that didnt even believe in him enough to start him in college. How do you think that has affected his development?
I'm confident he will develop, but at this point there is no evidence other than HOPE that he will actually realize that potential. So it's hard for me to say he is better than guys who have actually been successfull.
Ive never believed system qbs (Foles) to be better then the player who makes the system work (Tannehill). Wilson a good qb, really good and smart. But hes also sheltered by an amazing D and Beast mode. He cannot make every throw. Which is ok I guess since he managed to be a SB champ without it. But I wouldnt take him over Tannehill if I had to redraft them.
I want to believe but I'd take Wilson and Foles right now over Tannehill even though Tannehill has more tools to work with.
To each their own. If we put Tannehill in Wilsons situation could Wilson put Miami on his back as Tannehill has done at times (albeit certainly not the last 2 games)? Could Foles? I dont think so.
Foles is a system QB? He wasn't even running Chip Kelly's regular system??? And Idc how you slice it, 27 TDs 2 ints is elite.
