That's exactly what I was thinking. Wasn`t Pouncey one of the players who stuck up for Cogs when this stuff first broke out? Seems pretty strange that he would still be close with Martin considering he disagreed with the bullying accusations.

  2. Maybe the girl on the golf course should of pressed criminal charges or maybe she made more out of it than what was warranted, either case it is all being kept confidential. Im not sure why anyone would be comfortable defending or condemning Cogs. It seems like people are just projecting what they want to believe about him.

    Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?

I don't think anyone is defending or condemning all of Richie's actions.

He has absolutely done enough on his own to warrant release from the team, I just think the Martin camp is trying extra hard to screw him over as well.

She did, in fact, file a complaint with the police department.

No "proof" but then again there's no real "proof" to a whole slew of things we take for granted to be true. It's all what has been reported. At least in this case the reporting was said to have come directly from the Ted Wells investigation, as in one of the things that came out in the investigation is that Philbin wanted Incognito to be released after that incident. I consider it to be very, very likely true since it's part of the investigation findings and not just something floating around out there.

I believe under Florida law if he touched her genital area against her consent its sexual battery, even though it wasn't a rape or soemthing else that you might think of as typical sexual assault.

Fact is, Incognito is a man who behaves boorishly, both in the locker room and in public, and doesn't seem to have much problem with it.

Maybe he didn't "bully" Martin (though he probably is a bully in the general sense) but he is a clown

Actually, assuming everything Mommabilly said was true, then the organization knew about the sucidal thoughts/attempts, plus other mental issues and doesn't appear to have done anything about it.

I mean, if you know those things about an employee, don't you think you should pay some closer attention to what he's doing, who he is hanging out with, etc.?

Incognito is such a damn idiot.

You can definitely tell which side is being influenced by more affluent, savvy legal minds.

Jonathan Martin opened up the door to examining private texts and voicemails but everything he's released has pertained very specifically and almost suregically to the accusation of bullying levied against Richie Incognito and the Dolphins locker room. He didn't even release his texts and evidence to the NFLPA or Ted Wells.

Richie Incognito has replied to everything like a spluttering meathead, just shotgun spraying himself around and doing all kinds of damage to himself and others. He released a full text history to the press which drags several uninvolved teammates through the mud. Now he's out there revealing suicidal thoughts from Martin.

He's basically trying to one-up Martin and all it's going to do is entice Martin to start releasing stuff that DOESN'T have anything to do with bullying. And that's where Incognito could get in REAL trouble because there are definite suggestions about Incognito participating in all kinds of illegal activity like drugs and prostitution.

I mean **** this is a guy that can't participate in a god damn golf charity event without getting drunk and sexually assaulting/harrassing/whatever a female volunteer to the point he has to pay her off.

I mean would anyone really be surprised if Martin releases a text where Incognito seems to admit to roofying a girl and/or having sex with a girl while she was passed out?

Basically the perception coming off this is that Jon Martin has smart, affluent and savvy legal minds influencing his tactics and actions on this whole thing...and Richie Incognito has Jack Daniels.

Incognito is a meathead + a scumbag. The game is full of meatheads, but when **** gets real they don't start indiscriminately throwing teammates under the bus out of spite or a desire to disseminate blame. Or for any reason, really.

Well, considering he is the traditional aggressive football personality, and Martin is not and was raised by lawyer parents, it is more surprising Cogs held back as long as he has. I'm guessing the Dungy interview followed by further delay in releasing the report caused the breaking point.
