http://thebiglead.com/2014/02/03/he...nito-and-jonathan-martin-allegedly-exchanged/Before the investigation comes out. I got to page 19 but I have to go to class. "Enjoy"!
We should just aquire married dudes..lol "Jake needed a new start, Ireland didn't make him feel very welcome"
He did make him a competitive offer, maybe there was some bitterness of paying that large rookie contract and having missed a lot of time on the last two years of it, and not being about a hometown discount.
hahaha, thought the same thing when I read it. There's also that "Smdh ****in Mormons" when they were talking about the game between Stanford and Utah.
Since there seems to be some newly cropped up doubt about whether these texts were released by Incognito's lawyer or leaked from the Wells report, let me just go ahead and clear that up. A day after Jonathan Martin went on television and talked about the things he dealt with from Richie Incognito and others, Incognito hired a PR firm to try and clear his name, and his attorney Mark Schlemel released the following statements: A day later, the following story came out from local CBS4. http://miami.cbslocal.com/2014/01/3...-drugs-in-text-messages/#.UuvI37TfqHY.twitter So yes, Richie Incognito through his attorney is responsible for the full body of the text messages being released into the press. This should be beyond dispute.
This pretty much eliminates any case Martin had. Why he would do what he did I have no idea but going through the text messages around May 2013 they say something like "Are you ok" to martin and then martin says ya but won't say what happened. I'd imagine something happened there.
Well seems like Richie was right all along. Still happy he's not on our team anymore, but I will give him credit that he was right and Jonathan is nothing but a scumbag.
Also the fact that they refer to both bringing cocaine to the Vegas trip as well as Martin acknowledging that he was smoking weed at Yeatman's house really makes him look bad.
Another mention of Pouncey where Incognito asks if he went to Pouncey's after they went out and Martin responds with "No, no more drugs for me the rest of the season." Also there is a picture of Pouncey with two naked strippers in his arms. This is bad.

My respect for the players involved lessens daily. Of course, Pouncey's "Free Hernandez" hat was an early clue he was clueless when it came to criminal activities and morality.
young dumb and full of you know what.. I thought Richie was a little overboard, the one text where martins says " great, another weekend of you guys demeaning me" was a sign that seemed to go unnoticed..
Feels like the way two single poon hounds with money like too talk. If I were Richie I would've been she'll shocked also. No wonder BH got all red in the face when he was asked about this.
You keep commenting on this but I haven't read anything that makes me think folks are confused. Maybe in a different thread, don't know.
News flash: There are more than a few steriod taking, weed smoking, womanizing individuals in the NFL.
Oh, those things are minor. Hell, Sean Payton picked locks to get into the team medicine cabinet and pop Vicodin. That's awesome.
These texts surprised me. I did not expect to see a semblance of "care" from Incognito; just bullying. I saw quite the opposite. This is a guy who is being a guy (with the available resources to do what some guys would like to do on a regular basis). Unless there was some manipulation of texts by Incognito's team, I truly do not see much wrong here. They talk like fraternity brothers, except, they now have lots of cash to spend! Was there locker room bravado from Incognito that demeaned Martin? If so, was he asked to "toughen up" Martin as some reports suggest? Because from the texts, this is just regular stuff: food, women, cars, drinking, etc. There are some choice words, but nothing that would suggest it was meant to be taken literal. If Incognito was asked to give Martin his stripes, then fire that person who suggested it. This was a very ugly ordeal for this organization. Unfortunately, two players may never play another snap in the NFL again. I thought after reading the texts, it would be damning to Incognito. I, for one, do not think it is. The texts do not tell it all, but it certainly opens my eyes to what type of relationship they had outside of work. It looks to be a genuine relationship between two guys who play and work together. Whatever Martin went through, I hope he received/receives the proper help. But I can certainly see, at least from the texts, where Incognito was blindsided (no pun intended on Martin's field play).
Lucky for Payton he doesn't coach in Miami. Our fans wouldn't put up with those kinds of public embarrassments, they'd want him fired. FIRED!!!
You know I, and I'm sure many others, joked that the OL must have been on drugs for being so terrible all season. Well we dodged the "Drugphins/Dopephins" headlines that would've happened this season. Although Pouncey is still on the team. 1980s Miami lives? And people tried to make a big deal about Ricky smoking pot... And was this "drug" even pot? Or was it stuff like ecstasy/pills/coke? I haven't read through the texts, don't plan on it other than glancing at some. I mean...people who have smoked pot don't use the term "drugs" to reference it, which is why I'm thinking they weren't only smoking pot. Mary Jane seems to cause less harm than the legal everywhere alcohol. Nobody whose smoked some pot before says "Yeah I did drugs". When most people think of drugs that's not what comes to mind.
The question is, does the team who wins it all every year the team who has less of the guys your referring to, and more guys who sacrifice for the cause.?
Are the text's vulgar? Sure. I've sent just as nasty stuff to my friends. The bigger issue is how Martin completely snaked his friend and blamed him because he's a ****ty football player and a giant *****. What a douche. I'm not absolving Incognito from this, but jesus, Martin took the sand paper condom to Cogs.
Reading all that was fun It's clear Martin was trying too hard to fit in and couldn't say no, it was clear he didn't want to live the lifestyle that many of the team choose to live but wasn't strong enough to stay away from it. But Incognito at times did seem to show he cared and regularly chased Martin up to see if he was okay, Incognito acts like an idiot with money, but proved he never bullied Martin and is not the worst behaved player in the team. Two young people living the dream, but making mistakes, just one of them couldn't hack it.
Tough to say. Our current SB champions defensive backs are not very far removed from adderall in their systems.
