No one is attacking faith. They are just saying saying faith doesn't equal good character. There are many people with faith that have poor character and they are many people without faith that have solid character. All that matters in that one point of your list is if Taylor has solid character or not, his faith has no bearing on it.

Having said all that, none of us have a single clue as to what type of character Taylor has since none of us know him. On the other hand, I don't see why anyone would consider him a bust at this point either, he wasn't healthy and got behind on a team that doesn't love the idea of playing rookies to begin with. Fans overreact.

I did not bring this up for debate. I brought it up as an educated opinion. I did not lose it, I commented what I would do if I was a moderator. Since you seem bent on debating me though, I feel I have to comment.

I did not say I was an atheist, I said I was anti-theist. There is a rather large difference between the two. I only said it because I wanted to put my cards on the table to state that my agenda WILL tilt my opinion in a different direction. My opinion, an opinion shared by many I am sure, is that religion does not belong on this board. Religion has a place on this board, in the Religion and Faith section. It is an area of the board I do not go because my opinion would not be welcomed. That is fair.

It was an answer to you because you, as the OP, brought religion into the argument. I was just stating the fact that my experience on this board, and elsewhere, tells me when religion is brought into an argument the topic is usually lost and religion becomes the center of the conversation. Kind of like it did on page one of this very thread.

We have many people on this board of very strong faith, they don't use the faith argument on this board. I see you are fairly new, I was letting you know that in MY opinion this is not the place to use that argument. I may be wrong and if I am I invite a Moderator to tell me.

I hope Jamar Taylor becomes a useful player. I hope that by being healthy he is able to have a full training camp and get into the defensive back rotation. In hindsight, I should have stated that and let the Moderators handle the rest of the argument as they saw fit.

Yeah, this is going to end well.

BTW—"prototypical size"? For what? He's 5'11". around 200, has small hands and short arms. He's heavy for his height, which means (without looking it up) that he's probably not fast.

That's the antithesis of "prototypical size," at least for a CB.

Right, and that quote comes from a book that in the beginning has a talking snake and in the end has a four headed monster. Snakes do not talk and four headed monsters simply do not exist, and I have never seen a real Zombie (My 14 year old son does not count). At the end of the day everybody has the right to believe in what they want. There is no need to quote the bible for us, because for every verse in the bible there is a rebuttal for it, and a legitimate scientific factual one at that. There are numerous forms of religion that exist in this world. FWIW nobody is persecuting anyone here, some of us simply think freely with an open mind. If anyone is being persecuted it's the people who question the laws of religion, and question the existence of a higher power....SO hey...pray for starving children while holding a gold cross, I will actually be the one to feed them though.

That isn't bad size if he is in shape and not fat. There are plenty of guys that size with good to great speed.

He's probably not familiar with the Vatican or anyone residing within it's borders:
But I could be wrong, he could be down with the Pope, making your point valid.

Edit: or maybe those are settlement payments?

The above quote pretty much says, you are blessed for believing in me despite facing hostility in doing so. Exactly what scientific fact refutes that? If youre looking for some exact proof for why we're here you would probably be agnostic as being theist or atheist both require beliefs of something that will never be proven.
