  1. What a bullcrap penality against san fran. The league needs to put a stop to running QBs getting away with murder

Yeah I did, because it's obvious when some will use mistakes in the present as some sort of predictor on his future, and to justify their own position for someone else they have taken a stand for..

Look at the overall body of work, look at the context..look at the game of the individual, understand there is a learning curve for every Qb, however you want to see the tangible signs of greatness in the process.

Anyone still wanna talk **** on my boy Kaepernick..

Anyone wanna disregard his style of qb'ing, or that his inabilities to play from the pocket will eventually catch up to him? Or that he can't read a defense?

That team plays with an attitude that comes from it's Qb...and coach..

Newton got that *** whupped, dudes overrated, been so, folded under fourth quarter pressure at home.

Probably better than Philbin but we'll never know

Kap is a keeper but I still feel their coaches are holding Kap a bit. I can understand why they want to always keep him in the pocket but they need to also take advantage of his skillsets a little better. Kap is lucky to be under Harbaugh just like how Wilson is lucky to be with the Seahawks. Great coaching can do wonders for players, just like how bad coaching can kill a players development.

Not meant to be **** talking, but I thought his game was merely "ok" today. And yea, I would say he struggles to read defenses at times (not to say most young QBs don't).

Well then my post wasn't directed at you Stitch, only for those that continue to underestimate this dudes game and leadership, I would have not said something like that unless I heard it all season from a lot of folks that his first year was a fluke, and during a few struggles in the middle of the season they were quick to try and pounce on my and their's initial evaluation of the Qb coming out if college..

This kid understands situational football, he knows what his team needs in a particular moment, and he has the skillset to get it done under literal pressure situations..

Once again, that team has adopted his confidence and style..their a confident bunch that totes the line, just like Seattle.

    Kaepernick> newton..

Decker always trip. He cost my my perfect FF perfect season by tripping, against the Chargers too as a matter a fact, He had a easy TD pass from Manning and had no one to beat and he tripped. I lost by 5, that TD and Yards would have given me the W

I dunno man, the DB had his arm right in there. Would have been a tough grab.

    Great play by Butler regardless.

Thats a hot load. Newton is so much better then Kaepernick its laughable. Kaepernick has a near perfect team around him and has no pressure. Newton is well ahead of Kaepernick as a passer and as a runner. Hes learned to read defenses and develop touch on his passes. SF won today but Kaepernick had very little to do with it. Kaepernick can thank his defense. Hes not even better then Alex Smith at this point.

I was not a Cam Newton fan coming out. Newton has absolutely, unequivocally done what it takes to become a top flight passer in this league. Hes right on the cusp of something extremely special. That team needs a big redzone type wr to convert those 2 2nd quarter goal to go situations...get Newton his Crabtree you will see how far ahead of Kaepernick Newton is.

Newton didnt fold under pressure, his defense couldnt get San Fran off the field and then they shot themselves in the foot with a few poor calls on that long drive in the 3rd. If the play calls in the goal to go situations in the 2nd are better then Carolina is up by a couple of score at that point and you have a completely different game. Its ok cause Im confident Seattle will give Kaepernick his dosage next week.

During the Super Bowl you can either pay for commercial ad space, or Pay Peyton Manning. When he is in the Huddle hell be like "Hut Hut, Go to Chili's for their happy Hour, hut hut, its 3-7, hut hut, Omaha"

Kaepernick is a part of his team. Cam Newton IS his team. Thats the difference. So in that respect youre 100% correct right, you just have the situations reversed.

Newton has #1 defense and a lot of talented players on offense..Smith..Lafell..Ginn..Olsen..Williams..Tolbert....gotta distribute that ball to your weapons, then make your plays at critical moments..

The guy can fling the rock on occasion because of his incredible size and strength but his accuracy is highly suspect because his mechanics are flawed..his throwing motion from top to bottom is off on a lot of his throws..

I'd take Kaepernick over newton and not only wouldn't i of had to use a #1 pick on him, he's the better Qb..better leader..mentally tougher..smarter..
